Happy Monday,
Did you have a nice weekend? We sure did. We had a date night! I still had my cold but it was still nice to get out just the two of us and have a dinner. We were home early but it was great just to be together!
I have been very crafty this break and I was busy with a couple of challenges. Today I have The Alley Way Stamps Be Inspired challenge. I really love these challenges because it really gets me thinking and I love that!
Here is a look at the photo.
I love the red and white color combo. When I first saw this I thought of Christmas, and I have to say I am a bit tired of making projects for Christmas and Christmas is over so I wanted to do something different. So I thought outside of the box on this one. The most logical card for this photo is a card that is red and white with snowflakes but I didn't want to go there. So here is what I came up with:
I went with this cute little digi stamp and colored him with my Spectrum Noir markers. I then stamped the heart border using the cute border that was included in my Framed set. I then colored alternating hearts. I then stamped my sentiment which also came in my Framed set. Finally I added some yummy twine from The Stringery. I love how it turned out. Again I went with the colors in the photo.
If you want to see all the details for the challenge you can go HERE!
supplies
cardstock- bazzill, neenah solar white
stamps- digi- clear- TAWS
twine- The stringery
I hope you have a wonderful night tonight. Do you have any New Year's Eve plans? The boys always spend the night with my mom and hubby and I have another date night. We are going out to a wonderful place for dinner and then probably home. This cold is really knocking me off my feet and I go back to school on Wednesday so I want to get a lot of sleep. I will probably miss the dropping of the ball but that is ok with me!
Thanks for stopping by today. I will be back tomorrow with my first project for Imaginisce!! I am so totally excited! See you then! Have a wonderful and crafty day!

Wednesday Jillibean Tags
Happy Wednesday!
How was your Christmas? Ours was wonderful. Loved every minute of it and then today we are having a blizzard! I had several doctor appointments and various things that I needed to do. I always schedule my appointments when I am off work so that I don't have to take a day off work- but oh well- that is the way it goes I guess.
I had a lot of scraps from my Jillibean Soup projects that I made for Cord Scrapbook Studio. So what is a girl to do with too many scraps? Make some tags!! Here is a look at three of them! I used some yummy twine from The Stringery.
supplies
cardstock- bazzill
paper, die cuts, stickers- jillibean soup
stamps- hero arts
twine- the stringery

Wednesday Jillibean Christmas Card
Happy Wednesday
I am so excited- this is my last day of school!! I can do it - I can do it. It does kind of scare me though that my school has been having threats of shootings. The police have been all over my school the past couple of days but they said that today is the day. Even if it is a prank I hope they find the people - I don't like the feeling of going to school scared.
Today I have a really quick and easy card to share that I made for Cord Scrapbook Studio using the Winter Tortellini Soup from Jillibean Soup. I layered the paper and then I found in my stash a crochet doily and I used that to once again layer to make my own embellishment. It all came together super quick!
supplies
everything but the doily is Jillibean Soup
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I will be back tomorrow with another layout using this awesome collection!! See you then! Have a wonderful and crafty day!

Tuesday Jilllibean Cookies
Happy Tuesday!
Our school's last day of school is tomorrow and I keep saying to myself- "you can do it, you can do it!" The kids are going crazy and I need a break LOL!!
Today I have another project for Cord Scrapbook Studio with the awesome Winter Tortellini Soup from Jillibean. For this layout I used the 12x12 layout image from the Silhouette store. I bought this image awhile back and I was dying to use and I thought it was perfect for this layout. My boys and I love to make Christmas cookies for Santa and they have so much fun decorating them. I think they use an entire bottle of sprinkles on each one! LOL!! I really love how this one came out.

stamps- hero arts, ali edwards

Monday Jillibean Canvas
Happy Monday
How was your weekend? Ours was jammed packed but fun! I finished my Christmas shopping and I was able to get a jump on some wrapping when the boys were out. I am feeling pretty good about things now. Usually I am done but Jack couldn't decide what to ask for. He is my difficult one because he doesn't play with toys. He loves sports and sorts. He has never been a big game or toy player- he wants to be outside playing football with his friends or riding his bike and scooter. But we are finished and that is a relief!!
Last August (it seems life forever ago) I worked really hard for Cord Scrapbook Studio with the Winter Tortellini Soup by Jillibean Soup. I made a TON of projects and I can FINALLY show them here on my blog. So for this week I am having a Jillibean Week! My first project is an altered canvas. I really stepped out of my comfort zone with this one! First I made some snowflakes using my Silhouette and then made a mask and sprayed my canvas with some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist. I then rolled paper up to different lengths and glued them on to the canvas. I added some burlap as my tree stump and buttons to decorate. I really love how it turned out!
supplies
canvas- Michael's
paper- jillibean soup
buttons- random, jillibean soup
twine- the twinery
I want to thank all of you for all your super kind comments you left on Friday. You all are the best!! Thanks again!!
I will be back tomorrow with a new Jillibean layout. See you then! Have a wonderful and crafty day!

December SOG December Challenge
Happy Sunday,
I am popping in today to enter the Some Odd Girl December Challenge. This was a great challenge. It was a sketch challenge. To see all the details you can click HERE!
I loved the sketch but I wanted to flip the card so that it was going vertical. That is the one awesome thing about a sketch you can always put your own spin on it.
For my card, I used Tree Trimming Kaylee. This little girl is my fave!! She is just so adorable. I colored her with my Spectrum Noir markers and I even got out my stickles for the trim on her dress. Not quite sure if you can see that. For my papers I dipped into my October Afternoon papers and found a sticker for the sentiment.

Friday and Some Very Exciting News!!!
Happy Friday!
Oh I am so glad it is Friday! I have 3 more school days until break. I keep saying to myself- "I can do it. I can do it!" I have so much to do still for the holidays. Hopefully hubby and I will finish our shopping this weekend - Jack is going to a b-day party and mom said she will watch Michael. Hubby and I are going out to buy Jack's present. Then I will be officially done and I can start the wrapping process.
So I have been sitting on this awesome news for close to two weeks now and I thought I was going to burst!! I have been invited to be a part of the 2013 Imaginisce Design Team. I am so over the moon you would not believe it.
To give you a little background and sorry that I am a bit long winded but this literally has been a dream of mine for years. I started my blog 2 years ago so that I could enter the Imaginisce monthly challenges. I needed a blog to link up to their blog. I thought what the heck I will give it a try. I became addicted to the fun of the challenges- always making me stretch in my work and thinking outside of my own comfort zone. They truly have helped me be a better scrapper. Not long into my blogging Imaginisce had a DT call. I tried out and didn't make it. I knew I had to develop my resume a bit and I have been working very hard on it. I tried out last year and still didn't make it. Once again I was crushed! The rejection really hurt but I was determined never to give up. This year's call was put out and I made my new projects- I worked like a dog putting it together and I sent it in. When Cari (the DT coordinator) sent out the letter last week I literally started to cry. This has been a dream of mine for over 2 years. This was the reason I started my blog, started to enter challenges, started to put my work out there. I have reached a dream. I know I sound pretty dramatic but I am just so excited. I just love the collections from Imaginisce- they are so bright and cheery. The embellishments are so fun and the tools are incredible. I am still on cloud 9!! I am so honored to represent this wonderful company for the next coming year.
Check out the amazing people who I will be joining. There is so much talent that I am a bit awe struck!
I want to give a huge shout out to my followers. You guys really keep me going. When I would get my rejection letters you would pick me up and help me continue. Your comments are so wonderful and I so truly appreciate it!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I will be back (maybe) this weekend with a new project and then I have a big push to get a bunch of projects out that I finished up last summer -- so all new Christmas projects next week!! See you then! Have a wonderful and crafty weekend!

Thursday Sketch and Moxxie
Happy Thursday,
I have been on a mission these past couple of weeks to get a but caught up with my scrapping. Don't get me wrong I am ALWAYS behind but I don't like to be more than a year behind. So I have been hard at work scrapping last Christmas. I got one more layout done and I have one more to go. Here is my latest!
This month on the Moxxie blog I made a rough sketch and layout. Here is the sketch-- pretty basic - lots of room for your interpretation and places to put your own embellishments.
supplies
paper- moxxie
tags and stamps- elle's studio
stars- studio calico
spray- heidi swapp
Thanks so much for stoppign by today. I will be back tomorrow with some exciting news!! I can't wait to share!! I have been bursting at the seams to tell. See you then! Have a wonderful and crafty day!

This month on the Moxxie blog I made a rough sketch and layout. Here is the sketch-- pretty basic - lots of room for your interpretation and places to put your own embellishments.
And here is my layout. I have to say I really love this layout!! I used the Christmas collection Party at the Pole and I combined it with some fun embellies from Elles' Studio and Studio Calico.
This layout is of my Jack at his Kindergarten Christmas concert. He was so adorable. He was so proud of himself that he was able to do his little solo bit. I had tears in my eyes the entire time!! The paper from Party at the Pole was so perfect for this. I layered my paper randomly and even put in some vellum paper over the argyle paper (it was fun pulling out some old things in my stash!). I then machine stitched my background circle and some of the other parts. I then added some fun tags and stamped some embellishments using the Elle's Studio stamp set. When I was done I thought something was missing and a decided to mist some of the mistable stars from Studio Calico with the Heidi Swapp silver spray that has a hint of shimmer to it and then I was done!!

Isn't this little girl just the cutest??? Oh I love her! I colored her with my Spectrum Noir markers. For the card I used some October Afternoon paper and also one of their rub ons for the sentiment

Wednesday LYB Gift Boxes
Happy Wednesday,
Have you started your Christmas shopping? I am almost done, but now I have the hard part. The wrapping of presents. It is hard to get everyone out of the house so that I can have time to pull everything out and get them wrapped. Hopefully I can get them done next week. I have a day off and the boys will be at school. So I will need to wrap everything. Yikes- hours of work!!
I do have some small gifts already wrapped! I used my Silhouette to create some fun gift boxes to put some gift cards or small presents. I used my LYB Once Upon a Christmas to create these little boxes. I love the LYB paper because it is so sturdy!
I am putting 2 different gift cards in this box because it is actually 2 little boxes combined. I just love it!
I love a nice presentation. Don't you??

Everything is LYB

What a fun photo, right? I went in the direction of the colors for this challenge. I love the color combo of pink and green and I was dying to try out this adorable stamp from TAWS. I stamped the image on some fun pink paper and paper pieced it together. I used my Spectrum Noir markers to color in some parts. I then pop dotted it on my card. I then used the awesome chevron ribbon from The Stringery (don't you just totally love this ribbon. I know I do!). Finally I stamped my sentiment and added some pink and green pearls to add a little bling! I love how it turned out! So fun and fresh.

Monday SS Sketch and Card
Happy Monday
Boy, this weekend went fast. I am pleased to say I really did relax on Saturday. After all my running around I sat on the couch and did NOTHING for over an hour. Wow, it has been like forever since I have done that and I loved it. Sunday I did the same in the afternoon and I really have to plan that in a bit more. Loved every minute of it. Now I am ready to attack my hectic week!
Over at The Stamping Shack I made a sketch and a card that I thought I would share with you today. Here is the sketch - Very simple with lots of room to add your own style.
Here is my take. For this card I used the adorable Snow Puppy digi stamp. I just loved it. I colored it in with my Spectrum Noir markers. I ran out of thread so I just punched little holes to give the effect of sewing. I then stamped my sentiment. For my card base I used some old Echo Park and I used the awesome grosgrain ribbon from The Stringery! I really love that wide striped ribbon.

Wednesday Lily Bee Card
Happy Wednesday
This is a card using the scraps of from my Lily Bee projects that I made. You can see them HERE and HERE. I love using my scraps. I hardly ever throw any paper away. For this card I used I first flicked some mister huey spray in coordinating colors. I then added some paper strips and stamped my sentiment on it. I added some punched out butterflies and I thought it needed a bit more so I added some yummy twine from The Stringery in the light yellow and white. I really love how it turned out! It is one of my favorites right now.

Tuesday LYB and a Horse Parade

You will be seeing some more of this collection in the next couple of days!
Today's layout features a collage style layout. I love to make these when I have a lot of photos. Last year we went to the Lebanon Carriage and Horse Parade. This parade is simply awesome. All types of horse come from all over Ohio to participate in this parade. The parade is always the first weekend in December and marks the start of the holiday season! It is always so much fun!

Friday Sparks Challenge 11/30
Happy Friday,
This is my second post of the day!
I am popping in today to enter the awesome Paper Smooches Sparks challenge. I am totally addicted to these challenges. This week we have a photo inspiration. Go HERE to see all details! Here is the photo:
Ok, I totally loved the colors in this photo. I have really been loving the yellow and grey color combos and the chevron. As soon as I saw it I new exactly what I was going to do.
First, I cut out some stars using my Silhouette. I then flicked some Heidi Swapp paint in the awesome grey/silver tone. I really love this new paint spray- my new love! I then used the negative space and backed it with some random paper from basic grey and pink paislee. I then added the stamped sentiment - one of my favorite Paper Smooches stamp sets! When I was done I thought it was lacking something so I brought out bling. I added randomly added some bling around my stars. I then layered it on top of a white card base! I love how it turned out!
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Have a wonderful and crafty weekend!

Friday with Moxxie Journal to Recovery
Happy Friday!
We made it through another week! I am so looking forward to the weekend. Saturday I will be cropping at Archiver's and then Sunday Jack and I have our tennis lessons. I am pretty excited. Not a lot going and I will have time to start some new projects!
Moxxie has a wonderful collection called Road to Recovery. This is a fantastic collection for those people who are struggling with health issues. I am a firm believer of journaling your thoughts. I thought it would be really cool to make a journal for those who are going through a lot. This would be a place where they can write their feelings about the what they are going through.
This paper collection is just so beautiful. Here is the entire journal.
and here are some close ups.
For the journal I used some of the awesome die cuts and stickers to embellish the front cover.
