Wednesday Imaginisce and Tombow Swap

Happy Wednesday!

Today we are kicking off summer with an awesome blog hop going on between Imaginisce and Tombow!

My youngest son is going on a Boy Scout outing with my older son and hubby and I made a little Tackle Box for him.  It is a surprise.  in his bag.  This little box is filled with some yummy gummy worms.  I think he is going to love it.  To make this little box I used my Silhouette to create the box.  I then used the Tombow Liquid Glue to glue all the edges together so that they are nice and strong.  I then used the markers to color a Snag Em stamp (you can see this in the video).  Finally I attached them on the box with Tombow adhesive squares.

I made a video to show you how I put this all together as well as some fun techniques with the Tombow markers.

Tuesday Imaginisce I Top Feature

Happy Tuesday!

Do you like to make crafty things for your home?  I really do and when Imaginisce gave us all different assignments this week on how to use the I Top I was so excited to get the I top Magnet Daddies!  The reason being I have been wanting a new magnet board in my scraproom for awhile now.  I needed something that blended in with my decor and was cute.  So when this assignment came I ran to out to find some magnet paper and a new 12x12 frame.  My scraproom decor is white and black and when I was going through  my Imaginsice paper I immediately thought of this sheet.  It is from the Love You More Collection and I absolutely love the grey colors and the doilies.  I knew that this would be my background piece.  For my magnets I used some of the coordinating papers to cover my magnets.  I love how it turned out.  I now have something pretty and functional in my scraproom where I can hang my "To Do Lists".
I made a video on how to create the fun and easy project.  Jack is already clammering for me to make him one for his bedroom.

Thursday Imaginisce I Top Project

Happy Thursday

Over at Imaginisce we were given the assignment to come up with a project using the I Top and the Button Daddies.  I love my I Top tool because I can make custom brads and buttons that match whatever project I am working on!  So when I was thinking of and idea I wanted to try my hand at making an altered canvas.  I wanted a little something to remind me of spring with sunshine and flowers. So I dug through my craft supplies and came up with the idea of a canvas with flowers and the centers would be using the button daddies!

I first misted my canvas with a light blue mist.  I then cut some felt flowers using some dies and made my centers using the I Top tool and the awesome paper collections from Imaginisce Childhood Memories and Good Dog.  I sewed the buttons on to the flower and then used my I Bond to glue them onto my canvas.  Next I used my twine to make the stems and found some old ric rac to make the grass.  Finally I added some chipboard clouds and sun.

Would you like to win an I Top prize package from Imaginisce?  Well, head on over to the blog and leave a comment and you could win!!!  Go HERE!

Monday Release Week at Imaginisce Good Dog

Hey Everyone,
It is an exciting day here and over at the Imaginisce blog today because all this week  they are releasing the brand new collection Good Dog.  This collection is just so absolutely fabulous.  I love all the chevrons and the the awesome colors in this collection.

I have a couple of projects to share here and over on the Imaginisce blog.  First up I have a layout using Good Dog. My cousin just added to their family with Miss Lucy!  She is the most gorgeous English Creme Retriever ever!  I am in LOVE with her.  This was her welcome home photo.  Isn't she adorable?

die cuts- Imaginisce Good Dog
chipboard and stickers- Imaginisce Good Dog
tools- I top and Medium and Small brads, Silhouette

For my next project I made a little treat bag.  I know you know plenty of people who have pets.  This collection makes the cutest little gift bags to bring them a little gift.  I cut out the design using my Silhouette. I then used my clear acetate packaging from the chipboard and made the window on the bag.  I am so frugal I even save and use the packaging! LOL!    I glued it together using my I Bond to make sure that it was sturdy enough to hold the big treats.  I tied it together using some yummy twine from The Stringery.  Finally I used a die cut from the collection and one of the Snag 'em stamps for the paw print.  I love that stamp!

Happy Friday!

Are you ready for the weekend?  Oh my I am!  This weekend is a bit quieter than last week- thanks goodness!  Saturday we have Jack's basketball game and then on Sunday I have my tennis lesson (just a lesson!).  I am hoping to get some crafting time in.  I have a lot of odds and ends that I need to get done so hopefully I can squeeze in the time!

Today's post has 2 projects that I made combined. Thursday Gift Bag and Tag

Happy Thursday,

Jack had a birthday party to go to and I needed to make a gift bag and tag.  I broke into my stash and came up with the the awesome Echo Park Boy collection.  This collection is VERY old but I keep all my scraps.  For the bag I layered some pattern paper--
For the tag I used an October Afternoon monster stamp and colored him with my spectrum noir markers.  I also made a cute tag from Paper Trey ink.  I added them to a basic tag and I was done!  It all came together in about a 1/2 hour.  I totally love it when it comes together so easily!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I will be back tomorrow with a new project.  See you then!  Have a wonderful and crafty day!

Thursday Imaginisce Introduction

Happy Thursday,

Today I am just over the moon excited about my introduction on the Imaginisce blog.  I am just so excited over this and I still am in a bit of shock that this is happening to me.  It truly is a dream to work for such an amazing and generous company.  For years their blog and Design Team members have been inspiring me in my scrapbooking and cardmaking and now I am one of the DT members.  It is so cool!

Today I want to share with you my Design Team application projects.  For the application we had to create 5 projects using the Imaginsice products (2 layouts, 2 cards, and 1 other project).  Here are 4 items with  what I came up with.

You and Me- this layout uses their new Valentine collection and let me say that this collection totally ROCKS! I love the fun pattern paper and they now have included stickers and alphabets- gotta love that.  This layout is of me and my wonderful hubby!  We were at a concert this summer and we got this picture taken and I just love it of the two of us.  So much fun!

EEK!

This layout uses the Monster Mash collection and I just love that this collection used some non traditional colors.  This layout is of my boys on Halloween night in 2011.  I thought they were just way too cute!!  This collection was just perfect for them.

Christmas Card
This card uses some of the older collections that I had in my stash.  I always love their large die cuts.  They make the most wonderful embellishments

Home Decor
I love making home decor items and printer's treys are my fave!

If you have the time today I would love it if you could stop by the Imaginisce blog (HERE) and leave a little love.  That would be totally awesome.

Thanks so much.  I will be back tomorrow with a new project.  See you then!  Have a wonderful and crafty day!

Monday Gift Bags with Imaginisce

Happy Christmas Eve!

Are you finished with your shopping and wrapping?  I am!!  Today for me starts the cooking.  I will be cooking for part of the morning and then relaxing!!

If you are not done with your wrapping I have a really easy solution for you!  GIFT BAGS!  I love making gift bags and decorating them with my scrapbooking supplies.  For these presents I got out my awesome Imaginisce supplies.  I cut on large sheet and glued it down to the bag and then I cut a smaller piece to go into the middle.  I then decorated the center part with the awesome die cuts!  It literally took me a couple of minutes to create 5 bags.  Here is a look at 2 of them!

Monday Jillibean Canvas

Happy Monday

How was your weekend?  Ours was jammed packed but fun!  I finished my Christmas shopping and I was able to get a jump on some wrapping when the boys were out.  I am feeling pretty good about things now.  Usually I am done but Jack couldn't decide what to ask for.  He is my difficult one because he doesn't play with toys.  He loves sports and sorts.  He has never been a big game or toy player- he wants to be outside playing football with his friends or riding his bike and scooter.    But we are finished and that is a relief!!

Last August (it seems life forever ago) I worked really hard for Cord Scrapbook Studio with the Winter Tortellini Soup by Jillibean Soup.  I made a TON of projects and I can FINALLY show them here on my blog.  So for this week I am having a Jillibean Week!  My first project is an altered canvas.  I really stepped out of my comfort zone with this one!  First I made some snowflakes  using my Silhouette and then made a mask and sprayed my canvas with some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist.  I then rolled paper up to different lengths and   glued them on to the canvas.  I added some burlap as my tree stump and buttons to decorate.  I really love how it turned out!

I want to thank all of you for all your super kind comments you left on Friday.  You all are the best!! Thanks again!!

Wednesday LYB Gift Boxes

Happy Wednesday,

Have you started your Christmas shopping?  I am almost done, but now I have the hard part.  The wrapping of presents.  It is hard to get everyone out of the house so that I can have time to pull everything out and get them wrapped.  Hopefully I can get them done next week.  I have a day off and the boys will be at school.  So I will need to wrap everything.  Yikes- hours of work!!

I do have some small gifts already wrapped!  I used my Silhouette to create some fun gift boxes to put some gift cards or small presents.  I used my LYB Once Upon a Christmas to create these little boxes.  I love the LYB paper because it is so sturdy!
I am putting 2 different gift cards in this box because it is actually 2 little boxes combined.  I just love it!

I love a nice presentation.  Don't you??

Friday with Moxxie Journal to Recovery

Happy Friday!
We made it through another week!  I am so looking forward to the weekend.  Saturday I will be cropping at Archiver's and then Sunday Jack and I have our tennis lessons.  I am pretty excited.  Not a lot going and I will have time to start some new projects!

Moxxie has a wonderful collection called Road to Recovery.  This is a fantastic collection for those people who are struggling with health issues.  I am a firm believer of journaling your thoughts.  I thought it would be really cool to make a journal for those who are going through a lot.  This would be a place where they can write their feelings about the what they are going through.

This paper collection is just so beautiful.  Here is the entire journal.
and here are some close ups.

For the journal I used some of the awesome die cuts and stickers to embellish the front cover.

Monday Christmas School Project

Happy Monday!

Did you have a great weekend?  We sure did! We also brought up all the Christmas decorations and placed them in the living room.  I will set to decorate the day after Thanksgiving!  I have to say I am getting in the holiday mood now!

Speaking of the Holiday Mood- Jack's first grade class has a holiday project and Jack and I had so much fun.  The project was to decorate a cereal box with Christmas decorations and to bring in 30 Christmas cards.   Each day till Christmas the kids have to write cards to their classmates and teachers in the building.  This is to practice their writing skills and the box is to hold the cards they will receive.

So here is the card that I made for Jack.  I used my Paper Smooches stamps to create this card.
Just a basic card but I like the CAS look and because I had to make 30 of them - they were so easy!

For the box I used some cardstock and then some Imaginisce pattern paper and die cuts.  I love how it turned out.

Front
I sprinkled the paper with some of the new Heidi Swapp sprays in gold and red then added some twine from The Stringery

Friday with Moxxie Christmas Countdown

Happy Friday!

So are you ready for the weekend?  I know I am!!!!  I love this weekend because my town has its holiday festival and we take the boys every year to see Santa.  It is a lot of fun- shopping, eating, horse drawn carriage rides, crafts- I love it all!

Speaking of Christmas- it really is just around the corner and this year I thought it would be fun to make a Christmas Countdown using the awesome Party at the Poll collection from Moxxie.  I started with a $1 frame from Mihcael's and I painted it black.  I then made 13 4x6 chipboard pieces and covered them with the pattern paper.  I decorated them and placed a countdown number on them.  I then placed two holes and put a jump ring through the frame and attached the pages.  I really think my boys are going to love turning the pages for another new day.  It is small enough to place it on my kitchen table for the boys.

Here is a look at some of the pages:

Monday Teacher Gifts

Happy Monday!

Boy, do the weekends go by fast or what?  Did you have a great weekend?  We sure did her and I got a lot of stuff done for around the house and some crafting time in!!  Gotta love that!

I had the privileged to work with the awesome collection Makin' the Grade from Little Yellow Bicycle for Cord Scrapbook Studio.    I really loved this collection.  I wanted to make some fun altered items using this collection that would be great to give to the teacher's for Christmas or Teacher Appreciation day.  My first one is an altered clipboard.  I know I use clipboards all the time so I thought it would be fun to alter one.  This clipboard is aimed more for the elementary teacher but I still love it as a High School Teacher!  I trimmed the paper to fit and then glued it down.  I then used my Silhouette to create the fun school images all using the paper from this collection.  I then glued those down.  Finally I used a matte modge podge and gave it a good coat to seal it all.  I love how this turned out!!

My second item was super easy.  I took a 4x6 clear acrylic photo frame and popped in a 4x6 sheet of paper and then attached the note pad.  So easy and so cute!!

Tuesday Home Decor with Imaginisce

Happy Tuesday,

Back in July I had the fun time of working with the Imaginisce Monster Mash collection from Cord Scrapbook Studio.  I have always loved Imaginisce paper collections because they are just too much fun.  I had already made a card and a layout and I had some paper scraps left over so I made this altered photo frame.
I used the pattern paper along with some of the die cuts to embellish it.  It is pretty simple and basic but the paper and the couple of embellishments make it cute!

Everything is Imaginisce

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I will be back tomorrow with a new Halloween card that I made this week.  See you then!  Have a wonderful and crafty day!

Monday School Days

Happy Monday

Did you have a great weekend?  We sure did!  It was just nice to have a semi calm weekend.  Jack had his first Lacrosse practice and he really liked it.  The coach and helpers were just awesome and he really learned a lot.  Then on Sunday Jeff and Jack went to the Bengals game.  Michael and I stayed home and we broke out our fall home decor and set up our mantel and pulled out the fall towels and so forth.  I also got some crafting done.  Love it when I can craft just for me!

Last Friday was a really cool day for me because my projects that I made for We R Memory Keepers debuted on their facebook page. Last month I was contacted by We R and they asked me if I wanted to play with this collection and make some projects for their Facebook page.  Well of course, my answer was YES! and   I was so excited.  Here is my first project.  I LOVE printer's treys because they make THE perfect home decor item.  I was honored to play with the Making the Grade collection and so I wanted something fun for our house.  I snapped these photos of Jack on his first day of school.  I ten took each little trey and made some cute inserts.  For several of the boxes I cut the paper using my Silhouette into some fun cards like the school house and some journaling cards.  I then decorated the boxes with the coordinating stickers, bottle caps and tags!  I just love how it turned out!

I can't wait!!

Moxxie has a great collection called A very Merry unBirthday.  This is a fun, bright and cheery birthday collection.  Our family has so many birthdays this month that I made some fun gift boxes using my Silhouette and this paper collection.  I have to say I had a ball with it.  I made two different sizes- a larger one and a smaller one.

The larger bow- I just love this one!

Tuesday Journal

Happy Tuesday

How was your day yesterday?  Mine was so fun!  The boys were at Summer camp.  Their last week, and hubby took the day off and we spent the day together.  Just the two of us!!  We went out for lunch and just hung out.  It was so fun!!  I love quality time  together!

One of the fun collections that I got to work with from Cord Scrapbook Studio this past Spring was the Luv 2 Craft collection from We R Memory Keepers.  This collection was so fun!  I highly recommend this line!  So many wonderful things that you can create with this collection.  Last week I shared a layout (HERE), and my altered project using this collection is a Craft Journal.  I made my own Smash Journal to put all my inspiration in- photos-color inspiration- sketches that I have made-realia etc.

To make this Journal I bought a composition book at the dollar store and then covered the front with pattern paper and back with the WeRMemory Keepers cardstock.  I then decorated the front with a little bit of mist and stickers.  I just love it!

Thursday Father's Day Part One

Father's Day is fast approaching and I have made some fun altered items for my hubby this father's day.  First the boys are getting him a couple of presents so I made this gift bag for them to use.  I love gift bags because you don't have to get out all the wrapping paper etc.  Then I made a matching card for the boys to give to hubby!

I had a lot of fun making these projects for when I guest over at Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker.  I just loved working with the Noah collection.

For this card I used my Silhouette to create the card and tie!  Very simple Very easy!!!
Here I made a quick and easy card for my wonderful hubby!  I used all my scraps.  I love it when that happens.
