I have mentioned many times that I love giving my boys special notes and I made this one for them. I plan on leaving it on their place mat.
I love using White on White. The look is just so clean. I embossed my background and then for my tag I stamped my sentiment and then embossed my gold stars. Finally I added some yellow and white twine.
Hello Oddies, welcome to Day 1 of our Hol-ODD-Day Hop!
We Odd Girls have joined together for a fun event for EVERYONE - not just because you get to hop, but because you get to PARTICIPATE and share your own holiday creations. So glad you've joined us for our 3rd annual Hol-ODD-Day Hop!
We mixed things up a bit to bring you a nice variety of holiday projects that we hope will inspire you. You can comment on all of the blogs, participate by linking your own below (to be eligible to win, be sure you link to us in your post), and comment throughout the event on other people's links as well! And there will be PRESENTS! The hop goes from now through Friday, December 12th, and we'll be announcing 3 winners next Wednesday, December 17th, so you have plenty of time to comment between now and then! Our Hol-ODD-Day Hop link party will close at midnight on Friday the 12th.
Today, all of the Odd Girls have projects to share for the big event, so you can visit their blogs to see all the action happening. Here's the hop list for our awesome team:
I used the Core Basics Kraft smooth cardstock and then used my Spectrum Noir markers on the mouse and then the Pencils on the other two. I love to use my Spectrum Noir pencils on the Kraft. It has a great look.
Hope you have fun with this Hol-Odd-hop! See you tomorrow. Have a wonderful and crafty day!
My baby turns 6 today! So in honor of him I made this birthday card for him. I got to have so much fun stampping and coloring with this card. I just wish I could see him open it becuase I am leaving it on his placemat in the morning. ( I leave the house at 5:45 am and am not home in the morning to see they boys but I alsways leave little notes and cards for them so that they know I am thinking of them!)
I made a video for you on how I made this card.
I am entering this card into the Lawnscaping Challenge #94. (It has been a long time since I have been able to play and was so excited about this challenge.) This was just perfect timing with my little one's birthday! See the above link for all the fun details!
Thanks so much for joining me today. I will see you soon. Have a wonderful and crafty day!
I got really excited when they told us that Core'dinations was teaming up with May Arts for a fun giveaway! Be sure to stop by the Core'dinations Blog to enter to WIN!
For my project I made a hostess gift bag and tag for the holidays. I love to bring a little gift and have it wrapped really pretty. For my bag I used the Tim Holtz Shattered Collection. I broke out my Sillhouette to make the beautiful leaves and then got busy with my Lawn Fawn stamps! To finsih the project off I added some yummy twine and ribbon from May Arts!
A close up of the Tag!
A video on how this came about.
Thanks so much for joining me. I will be back next week with a new project. See you then,
