Happy Halloween!
Hope you are having an awesome Halloween. The boys went out for Beggar's Night last night and even in the wind and rain they had a blast! Jack was invited to a little party and Michael only went out for about 20 minutes and then he was too cold but as long as they had fun then it is ok with me!
Today is Jack's Halloween party at school and at his school they are not allowed to bring in candy, food or treats. So I made this cute adorable card for his classmates and then we attached a fun Halloween pencil. For this card I started with a 4 inch base. I then used my Silhouette and cut out this adorable little ghost. I then heat embossed the fun little sentiment and then wrapped some yummy Halloween twine from The Stringery!. I then adhered it to the base and added some fun googly eyes. Inside I stamped Happy Halloween. Jack signed his name and then attached the pencil. He was so excited to hand these out today. I wish I could have been there!

Tuesday Home Decor with Imaginisce
Happy Tuesday
How are things going? So far so good here.I want to t hank everyone for the your kind words. I am feeling much better. The anitbiotics are awesome!
We are getting some of the side effects of Sandy here in Ohio and the wind is crazy and we actually are projected to get some snow flurries. We are not supposed to get the craziness like the east Coast. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone in the effected areas. Since our weather has taken a turn it has been nice to come home from school, get in my comfy clothes and head on to the basement. I actually have been getting in some more crafty time and I have been loving this!!
I had some fun news this past weekend. I was asked to join a new digi stamp company The Stamping Shack They have the cutest digi stamps and I am so excited! I love to color and I am so glad that I have decided to get back into it! I want to thank Annette over at My Cleaver Creations. She encouraged me to get back in the game and I am loving every minute of it. I really look forward to creating some wonderful cards with their adorable and whimsy images. If you haven't heard of them be sure to stop on by!
For my project today I have a fun and cute home decor piece. I used the adorable Christmas collection from Imaginisce. I made this piece for Cord Scrapbook Studio this past summer. I had never made one of these wreath before but I really loved how it turned out! I used a 4 inch square for the bottom row and then a 3 inch square for the top row. I shaped them into cones and then hot glued them down. I then cut out a 4 inch circle for the top and added the title Christmas Cheer using one of the awesome die cuts. To hang it I added some coordinating ribbon. I loved how it turned out and it was so easy to make!
supplies
everything is from Imaginisce except the ribbon (michael's)
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I will be back tomorrow with a the Halloween cards that I made for my son to take to school. See you then. Have a wonderful and crafty day!

Monday Noel
Happy Monday
How was your weekend? Mine was OK. Friday at school I wasn't feeling well . I got into the doctor after school and I have an ear infection. Plus I had lost my voice. YUCK! So other than my ear throbbing I had a great weekend. It was rainy on Saturday and Jack's Lacrosse game was cancelled. I actually was really happy about that because we all just hung out together versus all running here and there! It was really quite nice. Then Sunday hubby filled in for me at tennis. I was not up to running around with my ear. So I hung out at home and worked in my scrap room! I LOVED it.
Over the summer I worked a lot on Christmas for Cord Scrapbook Studio. I got to play with new awesome collection from Imaginsce. I always love their Christmas collections and this one did not let me down. If you missed my layout from this collection you can see it HERE. I made this card using my scraps and one of the chipboard pieces. I also added some gems and pearls using my IRock tool. The card has one of my signature styles but I just love it!
supplies
everything is from Imaginisce
Have you started on your Christmas cards yet? I actually started them this weekend. I will be sharing them soon.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I will be back tomorrow with another project from this collection. See you then! Have a wonderful and crafty day!

Friday with Moxxie Fun and Games
Happy Friday Everyone!!
Oh my am I glad it is the weekend! Our weekend is busy but not crazy busy like the last 3 weekends! I am so happy. I am hoping to get in some relaxation time in as well as some scrappy time! I have some digi thanksgiving stamps that I have been dying to color but I have to finish up my project for LYB before I can start on anything for me. I always like to have all my commitments out of the way before I can play!
Do you have any fun plans for the weekend- crafy or not?
Today's Moxxie project is a fun one! Every May we go to my hometown Spring Festival. The boys look forward to it! The have several blocks blocked off and there are some fun carnival games. Jack LOVES them. These are some fun photos that I took of him that day!
For this layout I used the Midway Madness collection. This is such a fun collection with lots of fun bright and cheery colors. For this layout I split the sunburst swirl paper in half and then cut a circle to use as the center of the sunburst. I then cut 2 rows of tickets out for my border. I then added some fun buttons and randomly placed in the swirls. Inside the buttons I used some of my natural burlap twine for my favorite etsy shop! The Stringery Finally I added some of the die cuts to embellish the photos. For the collage I used a digi template from Kerri Bradford.
paper, die cuts- moxxie
buttons- paper trey ink
alphabet stickers- jillibean soup
twine- the twinery
journaling spots- paper trey ink dies
ink- jenni bowlin
sewing machine

Thursday Preschool 2
Happy Thursday!
We are getting close to the weekend! I am so ready! How about you?
Today I have a layout that I made for Cord Scrapbook Studio. I got to play with the Makin' the Grade collection from Little Yellow Bicycle. I LOVED this collection. I couldn't wait to start playing with it as soon as it arrived at my door. I used my favorite photo that I took of my little one. He was so excited to move to the Preschool 2 classroom. I just love his little smile on his face when I came to pick him up after his first day of school. He was so proud of himself! For this layout everything is LYB except I used a Silhouette cutting file for the clipboard.
papers, stickers- LYB
alphabet stickers (red) jillibean soup
spray- mister huey
silhouette
cardstock- bazzill

Wednesday Sparks Challenge 10/22
Hi Everyone,
This is my second post of the day. Scroll down to see the card using the Imaginisce fall collection. I have been so inspired lately by doing some really fun challenges. I am in love with the challenges at the Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge blog. They have some really fun challenges and I am totally loving their stamps. I have always had a couple of their sentiment stamp collections but I didn't know that they have some really cute digi stamps. So anyhoo... here is the challenge this week. Create something from this photo. If you would like to see more details of the challenge please go HERE.
Here is my take on this challenge. I used one of the digi stamps to create this adorable little bird sitting on a branch. I colored her in with my Spectrum Noir markers and then stamped my sentiment. To finish it off I added some twine from my favorite etsy shop- The Stringery. I am loving the CAS look to my cards these days!

Wednesday Thankful
Happy Wednesday,
I have a card to share with you today. I am really getting into the fall/halloween/thanksgiving spirit here. As I have mentioned before I am totally using up my stash. I think this is the 3rd project I have used with this amazing collection from Imaginisce. This month the challenge is to create a project using this color scheme:
Here is what I came up with. I layered the paper and then added one of the 3d stickers and some twine. The twine is in a yummy orange and white form The Stringery. I also added the teal alphabet stickers.
supplies
paper, stickers- imaginisce
twine- the stringery
alphabet stickers- jillibean soup

Tuesday The Alley Way
Happy Tuesday!
Are you getting in the spirit of Halloween. I am! I made one last Halloween card yesterday. The Alley Way Stamps company is having a very fun challenge right now and I knew I had to enter with their cut digi bat stamp. The inspiration for the challenge is this photo:
Here is my take on it. I first started with a black mat and then added a white cardstock piece and sprayed it with orange spray. After it dried I used a Paper Trey Ink border stamp and stamped it in black ink. I then added my sentiment and then some of the awesome Halloween twine from The Stringery. I love the Halloween twine!! Finally colored in my bat with my Spectrum Noir pens and pop dotted him onto my card. I love how it turned out!

Monday Whimsie Doodles!
Happy Monday!
How was your weekend? Ours was like a blur! So many things on the agenda. Did I tell you I am the assistant coach for Jack's tennis lessons and games? Yup, the needed more coaches and I used to play tennis (ummm 25-30 years ago). I have occasionally picked up a racket here or there but, I am happy to spend the time with Jack and help him learn and love the game!
Whimsie Doodles has their October challenge up and the theme is FALL! You can see all the details HERE! Not too long ago they had this super cute digi for free! I just fell in LOVE with it. It is Jayson and I think he is just the cutest little guy! I knew I had to color him and make a perfect card for him. Here is what I came up with.
I broke out all my scraps from this Imaginisce collection and got busy. I also had a little scrap of burlap that I had to add. I also added some of the burlap twine for the button. The twine is from The Stringery. I think he turned out so cute!!
supplies
cardstock- bazzill, neenah solar white
paper, title, leaves- imaginisce

Friday with Moxxie Ghosts and Ghouls
Happy Friday!
I don't know about you but I am so happy that Friday has finally arrived. I thought this week had at least 6-7 days going on. I really need a break! BUT we are even more jammed packed this weekend than last. I am going to try to fit in some down time!
This week for my Moxxie Friday I have a layout to share with you. The All Hallow's Eve collection is a very creepy and spooky collection and usually I go for the fun and whimsical style of Halloween but this line was ABSOLUTELY perfect for this photo of the boys that I took last year. We were at a fall event and there was this spooky place that had all the skeletons and skulls and the boys wanted to go see. I thought they would be afraid but they weren't. I snapped the photo and haven't done anything with it because my Halloween paper never fit- well this collection TOTALLY worked.
supplies
paper- die cuts, stickers- Moxxie
cardstock- bazzill
If you love card sketches then you HAVE to check out the awesome sketch over at Page Maps. They are offering the winner the ENTIRE collection of Road to Recovery from Moxxie. Wow, how awesome is that? Go HERE to check it out!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I will be back next week with some fun new projects ( layouts, cards, coloring, you name it!)! See you then. Have a wonderful and scrappy day and weekend!

Thursday October Doodles Challenge
Happy Thursday!
Boy, am I glad Wednesday is over with. I felt like it was 3 days packed into one. Now I just have to get through today and then I will be feeling good!

Wednesday Smooches
Happy Wednesday!
The week is NOT moving fast enough for me this week. How about you? Have you been getting crafty this week? So far I have been and I am loving it. I am working on some of my last projects for Cord Scrapbook Studio. I am sad to see my DT term come to an end with Cord. I have had such a good time. I also have been able to get in some card making time in. I am really having a ball with my cards lately.
I was first introduced to Paper Smooches stamps by Jennifer Mcguire. I was taking one of her classes and we were talking on a break about how much she loved these new stamps. So I immediately went home to check them out. Then a couple of months ago Cord Scrapbook Studio had me do a card set using their stamps and I instantly fell in love with them. Paper Smooches also has a challenge blog called Sparks and it is so fun. I have wanted to play along with them for the last month so I finally just jumped in. This week's challenge is a color challenge. To see all the details you can go here to see.
Here is the color palette. I just really loved the these colors!
My take on the color challenge. For this card I got to play with a bunch of things! I used some Basic Grey paper from the Picadilly collection and then layered it. I used my Paper Trey Ink stamp for the background along with some Jenni Bowlin ink. I then wrapped some yummy string from The Stringery around in the green and white. I then used one of their free digi stamps for the image. I just LOVE that little cupcake. I colored it using my Spectrum Noir pens. (I just bought them and I am really loving them! I will give a review later on!) I then stamped my sentiment using my Paper Smooches sentiment collection. I really love how it turned out!
supplies
paper- basic grey
cardstock- neenah solar white
marker- spectrum noir
stamps- paper smooches, paper trey ink
ink- jenni bowlin, hero arts
twine- the stringery
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I will be back tomorrow with a new project. See you then! Have a wonderful and crafty day!

Tuesday Puppy and Some Exciting News
Happy Tuesday!
Yesterday morning I got the most exciting email! I was invited to be part of the Little Yellow Bicycle's Cycling Team for Once Upon a Christmas. Oh my Golly I was so happy! Have you seen this collection? It is so beautiful! I just love it and can't wait to play with it. I am so honored to be part of this amazing cycling team. To see the other members please click HERE.
Today's project is one that I completed about our new addition to the Siehl Family. Unfortunately Molly had to leave us due to allergies. She was part of our family for one week When we found her a new home all of us (not hubby of course) cried over this difficult decision. I grew up with dogs and have always had a golden retriever or Labrador retriever as an adult; however, Molly was not a good fit for us. She was absolutely beautiful and she was soo smart. The good thing is we know the family and we get to see her often. She is so happy and that is all that matters. She is spoiled and that is a good thing!! So for a tribute to Molly I got to use up my stash of the Bella Blvd. pet collection.

Monday October Imaginisce Challenge
Happy Monday!
Did you have a great weekend? We sure did but boy, were we busy! Errands, grocery store, Lacrosse game, King's Island amusement park, baking muffins, baking cookies, cooking for the week ahead, tennis practice (Jack has started and I am a volunteer assistant coach) and finally getting things ready for the week ahead! Wow, I can't even believe all the things we did. Plus I got in a bit of scrappin' time and got in a layout and card! Wow, I am tired!!
Imaginisce is having their monthly challenge and this month's challenge was a color challenge. I am using up my stash of paper and I had some of the Imaginisce paper I love Fall from last year. So I knew I had to enter! Here is the color palette.
Here is my take on the color challenge. I really have been wanting to try new thing in my paper crafting. Do you ever get restless? I know I am , and I have been exploring some new techniques and styles, And I really love the results here. I first misted my paper with some Mister Huey in some orange, brown, and teal colors. I then dipped a cap into some ink and randomly placed some circles on my page to create my own background paper. I then placed my paper down and then added that beautiful grosgrain striped ribbon from The Stringery. I then took my sewing machine and sewed 2 large circles to go with the theme of the circles. I then added my photos and then it was time to embellish. I added some buttons and leaf die cuts from the Imaginisce collection. I tied some burlap twine from The Stringery in my buttons as well. I added some die cut pumpkins and chipboard pumpkins. Finally I added some of the new tags from Elle's Studio. I stamped pumpkins using an older set from Ali Edwards on my tags. I was really happy with the end result! It is a different look for me but I have to say I really had a great time creating this layout! I think I like getting messy! LOL!!
Suppliescardstock- bazzill
paper die cuts, chipboard, stickers - Imaginisce
ribbon & twine- The Stringery
buttons- paper trey ink
ink- tim hottz distress ink
spray- Mister Huey
tags- Elle's Studio
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I will be back tomorrow with a new layout. See you then! Have a wonderful and crafty day!

Thursday Inch Worm
Happy Thursday!
As I have mentioned Jack is just loving his teacher this year and I thought it would be fun to make a bunch of school related note cards to send to his teacher. This is one I made using a Some Odd Girl digi stamp. I love this little inch worm. I paired up the image with some scraps I had left over from the School is Cool collection from Imaginisce. I loved this line. It came out a couple of years ago. I have saved every little scrap so that i can continue to use it. I used some of the light blue and white twine from The Stringery and then stamped my sentiment using a Paper Smooches stamp.

Wednesday Skater Card
Happy Wednesday!
So how is your week going? Mine is going well! I have been on a roll recently with balancing home, boys, homework, work, play time, sports time, hubby time, and me time or should I say crafting time! I love it when I am productive and all areas!!
I am still on my card making/coloring kick right now and today I have a super cute card I made for a birthday party my son is going to next weekend. I showed Jack all my stamps and he picked out this adorable one from Whimsie Doodles. I just love their digi stamps and this little guy is just adorable. To make this card I used my Prismacolor pencils and then paper pieced his cute little cap. I used the Basic Grey paper collection for this card. I stamped my sentiment using Paper Smooches and then added some burlap twine from The Stringery and some BG brads and called it a day. Jack just LOVES it and can't wait to give it to his friend!

Some Odd Girl Guest Design Team Post
Hi Everyone,
Some Odd Girl stamps is having a Guest Design Team call right now for the months of November and December, and I thought I would throw my hat into the ring! I feel that I would make a fun Guest DT member because I really love the Some Odd Girl Stamps! They really are just so cute and fun. Whenever I start to color the images either with my Copics, Spectrum Noir or Prismacolor pencils I always feel so happy! The images just put a smile on my face and I hope to share the happiness with a matching fun card. Card Making has always been a passion of mine. I love giving my friends and family a card that is made just for them. My card making style is one that is clean and simple. This is a great style to highlight the wonderful SOG stamps.
Here are some examples of my latest work featuring SOG digi stamps:

One of the other reasons why I love SOG stamps is because the boys are not left out. So many times stamp companies make these wonderful images but they are always of little girls. Kristy makes THE best little boy images and Tobie is one of my all time favorites!
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Please know that if I am chosen I will give a 110% to my DT work with Some Odd Girl. I will share my enthusiasm for SOG and paper crafting and hopefully share the fun that I have with your wonderful stamps! Thanks again!

Can I tell you how much fun I am having with my coloring! This card really sums up the fun! My girlfriends and I always get together at least once a year and go out for drinks and when I say this super fun digi stamp of Kaylee @ Some Odd Girl I knew exactly what type of card I was going to make! I used the very fun collection Cocunut Lime Soup from Jillibean Soup. The lime paper was perfect for Kaylee's glass. I finally just had to use some fun flair badges. Love the jar with the yellow hearts!!

Monday Sunshine and Jillibean
Happy Monday!
How was you weekend? Ours was fantastic! How could it not be terrific with World Card Making Day 2012. I really got in the spirit of things and got crazy with the mojo flowing on my cards. So this week I am having a special week with all my cards. I want to thank so many of you for all the positive comments that you left this weekend on my Card found Here. Your comments really really meant a lot to me. I have been wanting to try new things and get back into coloring and you guys just really made my day! Thanks so much!!
Last Friday I was surprised when I went blog hopping in the morning and found my Birthday Card on Jillibean's blog. I was so honored that they wanted to highlight my card. I used the new collection Grandma's Lima Bean Soup. I used a Silhouette Jillibean Soup image and then made my own embellishment center by layering all the different papers. I added a little butterfly and wrapped some twine from The Stringery. I stamped my sentiment and attached it under the butterfly. I also added some sewing on each of the rays and then added some buttons.

October Moxxie Blog Hop
Hi Everyone,
Are you ready for the October Moxxie Blog Hop? Join us the first Friday of every month where we will feature a new collection. This month is just way too much fun with the all new All Hallow's Eve collection. I think you are going to fall in love with this collection. The collection is just perfect for all your Halloween projects! The Moxxie Muses have some wonderful inspiration for you today!
Here is my project using this awesome collection. I wanted a home decor piece that would fit on my mantel. I went out and bought a small grapevine wreath and then took my paper and cut approximately 50 bats using my Silhouette. (I am sure there is a bat image for the cricut.). I then hot glued them on to the wreath alternating colors and patterns. At the top I took one of the die cuts and that says All Hallow's Eve. For the bottom I bought some fun ribbon at Michael's that had some glitter on it and tied a big puffy bow. I really like how it turned out.
supplies
paper- moxxie
grapevine wreath, ribbon, glue gun

Do you want to win this entire collection?

Thursday Be Jolly
Happy Thursday!
This past summer I was busy working with Halloween and Christmas for Cord Scrapbook Studio. It was 100 degrees outside but inside my basement I had some Christmas music going and trying to channel the Christmas spirit. The first of my Christmas collection is the new Christmas Cheer. I just love this collection and it was so much fun working with all the wonderful embellishments that Imaginisce is famous for!
This layout just makes me laugh because of the photo. My boys on Christmas eve were putting out their homemade cookies for Santa. The plate was dropping and the cookies were falling. Michael had a sad look on his face and Jack wasn't even paying attention. Can you tell they had other things on their mind. BUT, I love the picture because not all photos can be picture perfect and it really captures how we were on Christmas eve.

Wednesday Rockin'
Happy Wednesday!
I used to color all the time! I have so many stamps and digi stamps and I used to love to sit and color, but somehow about 8 months ago I got away from coloring and I started making cards with more paper embellishments. Well, I got out my pencils last week and I made a Halloween card. I kind of have been kind of restless with my paper crafting and have been wanting to try new things and maybe revisit some old things so I went out surfing the blogs and found a really fun sketch challenge over at Some Odd Girl stamps. the sketch was really great and I wanted to use my cute Some Odd Girl digi stamps. This stamp is just so perfect for boys!
Here is the sketch.
Here is my take on the sketch.
I have been using up my stash lately and so I continued with this promise and broke out some really old Basic Grey papers and followed the sketch. The only thing I did different was add some burlap navy blue twine from the Stringery. I also placed my sentiment more at the bottom.
supplies
paper- basic grey
digi stamp- some odd girl
stamp- paper smooches
ink - hero arts, tim hotlz distress ink
pencils- prismacolors
gamsol
twine- The Stringery
Do you ever get in a rut with your paper crafting? What do you do when this happens?

Tuesday Teacher Appreciation
Happy Tuesday!
Jack is in first grade this year and his new teacher is just wonderful. He loved kindergarten and his teacher last year but for some reason this year is just "awesome" for him. Every day when I pick him up he has this big smile on his face and when I ask about his day he always responds "awesome!" So I will be sending his teacher a lot of little notes this year because she is making him just love school. This is my first one. I made it with the scraps from my Hall Pass from We R Memory Keepers.
First I punched my paper using the note book punch. I just love using this punch. I then layered some of my scraps in the center and then added on top the really adorable die cut. I then stamped my sentiment using the Lawn Fawn stamps. It was so easy to put together when you have awesome papers and die cuts.

Monday and Top of the Class
Happy Monday!
Did you have a nice weekend? We sure did. Hubby and I had a date night and we had an awesome time. Then on Sunday we all took a family fall walk looking at all leaves starting to change. It was wonderful. I love spending time with my family!
I was really lucky this past summer to work with We R Memory Keepers and their fabulous collection Hall Pass! You can see my work for We R Here and Here. Well, Cord Scrapbook Studio then sent me some of the same collection to work with and I was so excited because I have so many school photos from last year to scrap! For this layout I picked a couple of action shots of Michael in his brand new PreSchool 1 room. He was so excited to be transferred up to the next classroom in the middle of the year last year! He really thought he was awesome! It was so cute.
Supplies
Everything is We R Memory Keepers Hall Pass
except
