Welcome to Siehled With A Kiss. Today I have a fun filled post for you today. Core'dinations is having their Design Team Call and I am once again applying to be on this totally amazing team. If you have followed my blog for any part of time you know that I am totally addicted to all things Core'dination. I can't seem to make a project without it! I have a couple of projects for you today.
My first project uses the brand NEW Chalk Core. This cardstock is so awesome and amazing! The cardstock comes in both White and Colors. I use both of these types in my Back to School Chalkboard Sign! On this project I demonstrate the techniques of Outlining and Sanding!
1. Place the 12x12 Chalk Core over a die cut piec.
2. Sand the Chalk Core using a Sand It Gadget to reveal the inner core.
3. Die cut the letters and numbers using a Die Cut Machine, (I used my Silhouette) and then Sand the letters and numbers.
4. Optional Step- I used a Gel White Pen and added the lines just to add a bit more dimension to the letters.
5. Adhere the letters on the cardstock.
6. Have your son or daughter pose with the sign on the first day of school and you will have a memorable photo!
I made a How To Video for you on how this project came about.
Supply list
Chalk Core (White and Color)
Sand It Gadget
Dust Buddy

White Gel Pen
For my Second Project I have a fun Scrapbook layout to share. The project Let's Roll used many fun techniques using the amazing Core Cardstock. It uses the tearing, dry embossing, corrugating, and sanding! There are so many fun things you can do with the Core Cardstock to make each project unique!
I have a video that demonstrates all the amazing techniques! I hope you enjoy it.
Supply List
Cardstock- Core Essentials (Darks and Neutrals)
Pattern Paper and Chipboard- Echo Park
Stamps- Some Odd Girl
Ink- Jenni Bowlin
Dies- Paper Smooches
Sand It Gadget
Dust Buddy
For my third project I have a card. I love stamping and Core'dinations has THE best cardstock for stampers. Core'dinations has a new line called Basics and there is a 110 lb. cardstock and it is so perfect for using alcohol markers. On this project I dry emboss, color, stamp, die cut and sand the cardstock!
To create this card:
1. Cut a base that is slightly smaller (4x5.25) and emboss it using an embossing folder.
2. Stamp using Memento ink your stamped images on the 110 lb. cardstock and color with your favorite pencils or markers. I used the Spectrum Noir markers.
3. Cut the images out.
4. Using the Core Essentials Sand the paper. It is a lot easier to sand first using the Sand It Gadget. This will give your image a bit of a distressed look.
5. Stamp you image using your favorite ink.
6. Cut the image out.
7. Die Cut some grass and arrange the items on the card.
I loved this these because I have sooo many photos to scrap from last summer and this summer! LOL! So for my challenge I broke out my Lawn Fawn Hello Sunshine collection and got busy!
Last summer we had such a fun adventure when we went on a Dolphin Cruise. It was so awesome! We saw several pairs of dolphins and they are just having so much fun. I loved every minute of it.
For my layout I got to include all my faves-- stamping and scrapping!
I have a video on how this layout came about.
Thanks so much for joining me today. I will be back tomorrow with a new layout. See you then. Have a wonderful and crafty day!

Happy Friday!
Core'dinations has teamed up with Petaloo for a fun exchange. The theme is Back to School. I made two cards. For the first one I used some Core Essentisls and dry embossed and sanded it. I then took some 110 lb. smooth & die cut it and stamped it. I then added a fun clothespin and added the beautiful Petaloo flowers.
For my second card I used the brand new Chalk Core Note Cards. I scored the center and sanded it to expose the core. I added a stamped Core Tag and the added my wonderful flowers.
I made a video for you on how I made the second card.
Thanks so much for joining me today. I will be back next week with new projects! See you then. Have a wonderful and crafty day!
I start next Monday and the boys start on Tuesday. I am never home in the mornings and so miss them so I like to leave them little notes on their place mats for when they come downstairs. I thought this challenge will get me started on one of the boys cards.
For my card I broke into a Lawn Fawn paper pack, stamps and dies! Lots and Lots of fun. I also used some new Core'dinations! The new Kraft and Vellum! You can see all this in action with my new video!

I am so excited to share the Brand New Digi Release from Some Odd Girl. I am using the new Digi Cut Files. This collection contains some really awesome titles like Love, Oh Snap, and more! I used the title Love for my layout.
I am still on my quest to use up my paper along with getting caught up on my scrapping. With this layout I was able to score on both of my goals. Every year we make yummy Christmas cookies for Santa. The boys LOVE decorating their Christmas cookies. I also broke into my stash and found some buttons to add as embellishments. Isn't it funny that just a couple of years ago I used buttons on every project and I moved away from them once sequins and wood veneer came into popularity. Well, I got them out and I loved them!
I made this video on how this layout came about.

Well, I am down to my last week of summer vacation. I have to say I am terribly sad. This summer was so much fun and I loved spending every minute with the boys. Oh well, every good thing has to end. Right???
I was catching up on some blog reading the other day and found over at Chic Tags this awesome Sketch Challenge!
I loved this sketch. What got me was the 4 photos! I was wanting to finish off Easter and I had three photos to scrap so I got busy! Here is what I came up with!
I know my layout is a bit different but I kept some of the points the same. I love it when I have an idea and then when I am done it is totally different!
It has been awhile since I have brought you a new Digi Release from Some Odd Girl and today I am excited to bring you this little cutie- Sea Turtle. He is just soooo cute.
For my card I wanted to create a watercolor background to mimic the look of the sea. I then colored my sea turtle with my Spectrum Noir markers!
