Happy 4th of July Everyone,
What are you doing on the 4th? I am happy to say we are doing NOTHING!! We are staying at home and just hanging out with the 4 of us. With the 4th falling on a Wednesday the family didn't want to do a big party because everyone has to work the next day so we are going to have our big family party at our house that we host every year on Saturday. So today it is calm and relaxing. We may go bowling- yup our family is totally addicted! LOL!!
Today I have for you another home decor piece using the wonderful Hometown Celebration colletion from Moxxie! Last year I made my first banner (click HERE to see it) and I have been wanting to make another one because I had so much fun. I have to say I am totally addicted and our mantel is perfect for hanging these wonderful creations.
Here is my 4th of July Banner!
Close ups! You can see here that I cut out two identical letters - same size and then glued the darker color down first. I then pop dotted the kraft color letter and placed it slightly off center.
I also used my sewing machine to go around each banner piece. I just love to sew on my projects.
I used one of the large stickers for the space between Happy and 4th. I also cut out all the stars from one of their pattern papers. I love to get the most out of my pattern paper and create my own embellishments!
I cut everything out using my Silhouette Cameo!
Supplies
cardstock- bazzill
paper and stickers- Moxxie
Thanks so much for stopping today. I hope everyone enjoys this wonderful day with Friends and Family! I will be back tomorrow with a Jillibean Soup home decor piece. See you then!
Have a wonderful and crafty day!

I love this banner, great job!! Enjoy your day lounging with the family. I'll be doing the same & maybe even a little swimming :D
What a FABULOUS banner - LOVE banners!! Yes, 4th will be very quiet around here...getting ready for hubby's 50th BD and relatives from Japan are visiting this weekend!! Have a great day :)
What a fun and festive way to decorate your home for the holiday! I have a Cameo but I hardly ever use it. You have inspired me.
Have a safe and happy July 4th!
Awesome banner! Happy 4th to you!
Fabulous banner!
We aren't doing much of anything, because it is so hot here.
And we were able to see a few fireworks on Saturday.
Maybe the pool for a little bit and dinner with friends.
Nope we aren't doing much either. Too hot to be outside and my dh has to work today so, it's a regular day here. Love your banner!!
Oh Mary Pat, that banner is adorable! And of course, I love the stitching.
Fun banner! Love the patriotic papers. Sounds like you have a nice relaxing day ahead. My day will be just like yours (minus the bowling - LOL!). I have several projects I hope to finish today. Enjoy!

Happy 4th of July! Your banner turned out adorable! Love how you did the letters and that sheer ribbon is beautiful! Enjoy your day!
If I had a fireplace and mantle I would be making banners all the time! Lucky you! Gorgeous banner, Happy 4th! waving hi from the hills of North Carolina with a hot dog in one hand and a flag in the other! :) #37
Totally cute banner! We are also spending a quite 4th at home, just the 2 of us. So glad to have AC, temps over 100 here today!!
Your banner is so cool. Love that you have a mantel to hang it in front of.
I love the banner! I hope you had a great Fourth of July and were able to go bowling!
That's a great idea to have the party on Saturday. We didn't do anything Wednesday either, because everyone had to work today so no one wanted to be out too late!
It looks so good! The way you did the letters is such a smart idea!
