Some Odd Girl Challenge Friday

Happy Friday!!

Who is glad it is the weekend?  Me!!!!  Do you all have any big plans?  Not much here.  I have just my usual errand-grocery etc on Saturday morning and I will go into the scrap store to pick up my stuff for my doodlebug class next weekend.  Jack has flag football in the afternoon.  I think it is going to be a great day to work on scrap stuff in between all my other things.  Then on Sunday hubby and Jack are going to the Bengals game again.  Jack had so much fun last week and is so excited again for this week.  The two of them were just way too cute.  My mom is coming over and we are heading to run errands with Michael.  Target and Kohl's are on my list.

I love to play along with the girls over at Some Odd Girl Stamps and this week's challenge was to be inspired by this color palette.

And here is what I came up with.   I created this to send to Jack's teacher.  He comes home every day talkin about how nice she is and I thought this would be a nice card to say thanks. I was a bit unhappy with my stamp--Just a Note because the paper is glossy so I used my staz on ink but I didn't know that it was dried out until I stamped it on my page and it didn't show up very well.  So I traced over it but it didn't go very well.

Supplies
stamp- some odd girl
paper-imaginisce
canvas sticker- imaginisce
punch- ek success

I hope everyone has a great day today and weekend!  I will see you all on Monday!  Thanks so much for stopping by!

The card looks wonderful, and I'm sure his teacher will be so excited to receive it! I had the same problem with an ink pad tonight, its so frustrating when that happens! But you recovered so well - I couldn't even tell!

Enjoy your weekend, it sounds like it will be a lot of fun - or maybe that's just me, I like running errands! My plans consist of going to see the playoff game of my second most hated baseball team, the Phillies, in a Philly bar, with a group of Phillies fans! Now I know why my dad encouraged me to only date Mets fans!
