A Tuesday Nikki Sivils Challenge

Happy Tuesday!

I am glad Monday is over with! Just a busy busy day at work and with the kids!  I hope today is a bit calmer.  I am so loving the temperature change.  We are headed into a week of cool temps and I love it.  I got my fall mums planted outside our house and I am ready for fall.

Over at Nikki Sivils they are having a monthly challenge and this one really caught my eye.
Scrap an Object
For this months challenge you can use any collection or combination of collections you like.  The challenge is to scrap something that you normally do not scrap. No kids, no pets, no events, etc.  Scrap your favorite book, drink, phone, etc.  As long as it is not a live object you are good!

This sounded like fun  especially since I have been wanting to scrap our house for 2.5 years now.  When my father died I knew I needed to be closer to my mom.  I am an only child and being an hour away was too much for me.  My hubby was awesome and we moved our family back to the Dayton, Ohio area.  We were really lucky and bought our house right when the market fell in the housing market.  So we were able to get our dream home!  Every day I look at our house and feel like the luckiest person alive!  We have has some issues with it but we LOVE it!

Supplies
Everything is Nikki Sivils.  I used the We are Family line!!!

This is such an awesome collection.  I just LOVE Nikki's papers and I knew this paper would be perfect for this layout.  The colors and the adorable embellishments were meant to be!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I will be back tomorrow with my first of many Halloween Cards.  I love to make Halloween cards!  See you all tomorrow!

Mary Pat, beautiful home! I need to do that with my "house pictures" - we move so many times that I need to keep track! LOL!! That's wonderful that you are able to live close to your mom and I'm sure she appreciates that too!

I love the page, and that you have your dream house! I wanted to do the same thing when I moved away from New York, because I grew up in that house, but I never did. I might just have to break out some old pictures this weekend!

What a lovely layout.
So nice that you were able to move close to your mom.
Your home is gorgeous. I believe a home is a living thing. Once a family moves into it, their love brings life to that home.
