Hey Everyone,
I have been a member of the Some Odd Girl Design Team for 2 years and this is my last month! I have loved every minute of it. I think the reason why I love my Some Odd Girl is that Kristy really makes stamps that can be used in so many different ways. I love to include the awesome sentiments and critters on my layouts as well as the obvious cards. There are a ton of fun cut files that are perfect for scrapping as well. I just love everything!
The team was asked to have a post with our 3 favorite projects that we made this term. Here are mine:
On this layout I used the awesome sentiments but I also used the paper collection, wood veneer and sequins.
On this layout I used the "extra" stamps that you get in each set. The gears and triangles were just perfect for this layout about my son's Pine Wood Derby car.
This layout does not feature any of the stamps but it does feature my Title using the Cut File Chill Sentiment. Like I said before there is something for everyone in the Some Odd Girl shop!
Now this is where the fun begins becuase I got to pick one item to giveaway from the shop and I picked the Cut File Chill Sentiment. You need to leave a comment below! Leah, from Some Odd Girl will pick the winner!
Be sure to stop by the SOME ODD GIRL BLOG to find all the links to the design team members that are leaving and each member is giving away one of their favorite things. All the winners will be placed on the blog as well.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I will be back soon. Have a wonderful and crafty day!

Core'dinations St. Patrick's Day Layout
Happy Wednesday
I was playing around with my Core'dinations cardstock for one of my DT projects and I say this really cool Silhouette cut file for the lace shamrock background. I knew I wanted that to be the focul point of my layout. So I found last year's photo of my cuties and got busy. Here is what I came up with.
I am not sure that you can see the layered pattern paper under the photo but Core'dinations is starting to make pattern paper. I used various colors of green and yellow.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I will see you soon. Have a wonderful and crafty day.

Lawnscaping Challenge 101
Happy Sunday,
The brand new Lawnscaping Challenge 101 was posted a couple of days ago and it totally had my mind racing for ideas! The challenge is to use dots and stripes! I knew I wanted to create a layout using some of the awesome Lawn Fawn paper. I had several of the dots and stripes papers and so I got busy!
Click HERE to see all the details!
Here is what I came up with!
I combined the dots and stripe papers with some other Lawn Fawn papers and this is what I came up with. The photo is of the boys on Easter 2013. I love this photo of the two of them. I then added some Lawn Fawn flair and some Lawn Fawn stamps to finish off the layout! I totally LOVE how this turned out.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I have been really creative lately so I will be stopping in frequently! See you soon. Have a wonderful and crafty day!

Some Odd Girl Nerdy Kody
Happy Monday and Happy March!
Today is the new release from Some Odd Girl for the clear stamps. Today I introduce Nerdy Kody! Isn't he just so good looking? I love him. I colored him with my Spectrum Noir markers and for my card I used the Some Odd Girl paper collection along with the wood veneer.
For my sentiment I tried some masking becuase I wanted that heart to be red. It worked out pretty well!
I will be back tomorrow with a look at Nerdy Gwen. Have a great day!

Lawn Fawn Snow Day Fun
Happy Wednesday!
I am popping in today to share a really quick layout I did yesterday. This is the first layout that I have done for myself in close to a year. Can you believe that? I am so behind in my scrapping that I was a bit overwhelmed and then I just went into my computer and picked a month and picked some of my favorite photos and got busy. I found these really cute photos of my hubby and oldest son sledding on a hill in our neighborhood. The two of them had such a great time and I was so happy I got to capture it. The photos aren't the greattest but I don't care because it is the memory to me not the quality of the photo.
I wanted a really easy design and went with a basic grid design that I use very often. I have had this Lawn Fawn paper collection for awhile and have been wanting to use it so I broke it out! I went with a very basic clean look for this one.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful and crafty day.

SOG CAS Valentine's Day Card
Happy Monday,
This week on the SOG blog they are featuring a week of inspirtation for Valentine's Day. I wanted to get in on the fun so I made this CAS card using the Frenchie Kody stamps. I have had this card done for about a week but we have not had any sunny weather to capture a photo. So I had to make due with a photo. The card is pure white but the lighting was terrible. Sorry!
I wanted a really clean look to this one and so I used 2 stamps and added some pearls. Quick Easy and Fun!
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I will have some Core'dinations work for you later in the month! I am working on some St. Patrick's day cards and layouts! Can't wait to share. See you soon!
Have a wonderful and crafty day!

Feb 4th Core'dinations Valentine's Day Sucker Holder
Happy Wednesday!
Valentine's Day is just around the corner and I wanted to make a cute little sucker holder for some treats for my kids and their friends. I found this awesome holder in the Silhouette store so I decided to break out my Core'dinations cardstock and get busy.
First, I put everything on my cutting mat and cut my pieces.
For this project I used my Core Essentials and my Core Gemstone collection.
After cutting the pieces out I adhered the sides using my liquid glue.
I inserted my sucker into the holder.
I added some bling and a name to the front heart.
and attached it using some foam squares. This will be on their placemat in the morning along with a homemade card from me!
Thanks so much for stopping by. I will be back again soon.
Have a wonderful and crafty day.

1/23 Where Have I Been?
Hey Everyone,
Just thought I would pop in to let you know that I am still alive but I have been taking a LONG break from blogging! This has been coming for awhile now. I have been feeling very burnt out on everything- crafting, photographing, editing, blogging etc. I needed a break for a long time. I am still on my break, but I will be popping in a couple of times a month to showcase my Some Odd Girl and Core'dinations projects.
So what have I been up to since I have so much time on my hands without blogging? Well, family things. It has been so wonderful to just relax and enjoy my family without having to rush home from work, get things ready for the next day, and then hide in my basement and craft. I have been enjoying just being with my family and loving every minute of it.
We also decided as a family to rescue and adopt a dog! My oldest has been wanting to get a dog but I have been saying no becuase I just knew I couldn't handle a puppy. So as a family we decided to adopt. We found 3 wonderful organizations and it took us 3 months to find the perfect dog and we did!!! Her name is Nola. She is a lab mix. We are thinking lab and shepard. She is 5 years old and she is just amazing. Her family was moving and didn't want her anymore.
Here she is on her first day with us. She is so well behaved and is just perfect in our eyes!
We got Nola the Saturday before Christmas and she was my son's Christmas present. He is just soo happy!
I also have been really busy with my tennis and captaining a USTA competitive league and that has been keeping me busy as well!
I have been crafting a little bit but it has just been for me. I have been enjoying creating just to create and not having to worry about blogging and deadlines.
I will be back and I haven't entirely left but my posts won't be every day or even every week, but I will pop in.
Hope you have a wonderful and crafty day!

The football season is winding down but the parties are picking up! Are you having a party? Do you need a centerpiece idea? Well, I have one for you.
This is a cute little paper helmet created with my Silhouette and Core'dinations cardstock. You can fill it with little treats. A couple of weeks ago the Bengals were in a play off game and we had some friends over and I put this on the food table and it was just so adorable. You can switch it to your team's colors and you have a quick and esasy centerpiece. HERE is a link to a step by step instructions.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful and crafty day!
