Happy Thursday!
Core'dinations gave the DT an assignment to create something for Teacher Appreciation Day. I LOVED this idea and really broke into my supplies for this. I love to give notes to the boy's teachers.
So I created a card.
1. I made a standard A2 base in Core Essentials and sanded the edges.
2. Using Black Magic cut to 4x5.25.
3. Score the edges and sand. I wanted a more used look to the chalkboard so I sanded pretty heavily.
4. Using stamps I stamped some star embellishments and the word teacher using my The Alley Ways Stamps and heat embossed them.
5. Using the 110lb. smooth cardstock I stamped, colored and cut out various elements and arragned them on the card.
This was a totally fun card to make. I got to include all my favorite things- playing with cardstock, stamping and coloring!
Supplies
cardstock- Core'dinations
stamps- The Alley Way Stamps
ink- hero arts, memento
spectrum noir markers
Thanks so much for stopping by. I will be back tomorrow with a new project (fingers crossed I can photograph it tonight! LOL) See you then. Have a wonderful and crafty day

Monday Beach Time
Happy Monday!
Did you have a nice weekend? I sure did. It rained on Saturday so I was totally lazy and I loved every second of it! It was wonderful and then I had a nice Mother's day with my boys. Talk about perfect.
I have a fun layout for you today. My goal was to create a summer themed layout using my Core'dinations cardstock and my Some Odd Girl Stamps! What a perfect combination.
For my layout I started with my Core Essentials Pastels and I sanded it pretty heavy. I then took a piece of coordinating color in the Core Impressions and sanded it to expose the wonderful embossed doilies. To cover up the seams I added some Bella Blvd stickers. For my photos I made a mat using the Chocolate Box and ran it through the paper crimper and sanded it to expose the pink core. I then added touches of pattern pape from Bella.
With the layout formed and set. Now it was time to add the stamping. I used several different stamp sets to create this layout:
1. Mr Octopus
2. Beachy Mae
3. Beach Day Buddies
4. Happy Day
5. Under the Sea Mae
supplies
cardstock- Core'dinations
paper, stickers- Bella Blvd
stamps- Some Odd Girl
ink- memento, jenni bowlin
I made a video on how to include stamps on a layout. I hope you enjoy it.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I will be back tomorrow with a new card using the new digi release from SOG! See you then. Have a wonderful and crafty day!

Friday Birthday Card
Happy Friday!
Who is excited that it is the weekend? Oh man, I am! So thrilled that we have a relatively quiet weekend. Our morning on Saturday is super busy but then after 12:00 pm we are totally free for the entire weekend! Can't wait!!
I was able to get some crafting in again this week. I needed to make a birthday card for a birthday party my son is going to and I had some scraps left over from a layout that I made (for Some Odd Girl digi cut files). So I used up the scraps making this card.
I was excited because over at Sparks Paper Smooches challenge blog it was an Anything Goes week.
I knew I wanted to use this stamp set.
I just love that little turtle!
I needed a little help becuase once again I think I used up all my mojo on my last two design team projects but I still wanted to get crafty. So I did what I always do and look for a card sketch at my favorite card sketch blog- Retro Sketches. Seriously, If you need a little mojo boost this is the place! Here is the sketch. Just perfect for my needs.
Go HERE to see all the details.
Here is what I came up with.
supply list
paper- lily bee
cardstock- Core'dinations Vintage collection, 110lb. smooth
stamps- paper smooches
ink- hero arts, memento
Spectrum Noir
Silhouette
I have a video that shows how I colored this cutie and put together the card. Hope you enjoy!
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I will be back tomorrow with another project. See you then. Have a wonderful and crafty day!

Thursday Lawn Fawn Background Challenge
Happy Thursday!
There is a new Lawnscaping Challenge up this week and it is a really fun one!
The challenge to create your own background using Lawn Fawn stamps was sooooo fun! I broke out my stars stamp set and dies and got busy! I looked around my supplies and decided to get really inky and I broke out my distress inks and mini mister as well! I had a blast!!
Of course, I made this one for my son's lunch box. He is so cute because he saves all of them in a shoe box and he just loved getting them.
I started my background with some watercolor paper and then stamped and heat embossed the random stars. I then got inky with my distress ink and then misted some water on it, I then got out my Core'djnations and created the base and star. So love how this turned out!
supply list
cardstock- water color paper, Core'dinations Gemstones- Glitter Silk and 110 lb smooth
stamps & dies- lawn fawn
ink- distress ink, jenni bowlin
I made a video showing the process on how I created the background. Hope you enjoy!
