Christmas Card 1

Can you all believe that today is December 1st?  Boy, I can't.  This year has gone by so fast.  I am usually done with my decorations by now but Michael's little illness has delayed me!  All that I have left to do is the family room tree and to go to Hobby Lobby and buy a new tree skirt. Hopefully I will find the time later this week.  The house has to be ready for next weekend because we are hosting once again the big O'Brien Family Christmas Party.  I come from a very large Irish family and we get together once a year at Christmas.  It is awesome to see all my Aunts and Uncles, but it is bittersweet now with the passing of my father 2 years ago.  He loved these parties!

I am starting a new Tradition with Jack this year.  A friend of mine gave me this suggestion.  I usually do  a little advent calendar with him, but this year we are going to do a Lego Advent Calendar.  I am so excited.  Each day you get to put together a new little piece that goes with the Lego City.  He loves Legos and I thought this would be fun. He will get his first little piece after dinner tonight when my hubby gets home.  Will have to do a layout with all the little figures.  Why is it that I always think of scrapbooking?  I am constantly thinking "oh that is going to be an awesome idea".  Do you always think of things in terms of scrapping or am I just totally addicted?

Christmas Card 1

I love taking class.  This card is from another  AMuse class that I took late in the summer.  It was awesome to already get a start on my holiday cards in August.   So here is my first card.  Each Wednesday I will feature a new card for the holidays.  Hope you enjoy them!
