What am I Working on Now? + some very exciting news!

hey everyone,
Well it is Thursday so that means it is time for me to show you what I am working on.  I was actually able to get downstairs with the kids and get to work on one of my sketches and layouts.  Every one's scrapping process is different and when I have these Thursday post I guess I am showing you some of my process.  I always start with my pictures.  One of the reasons I scrap is to showcase my photos.  The I start with a sketch.  I just use my dollar store notebook and sketch out my layout.  I like to have a plan when I actually sit down to play with the paper.  Sometimes I stick to the sketch and other times I may change it up, but it just depends.

I can't wait to use this new line of paper by October Afternoon- Campfire.  I think it is just tooo cute, and you don't have to use it for just outdoor stuff either.  The patterns on the B side are very user friendly.  I love the stickers.  The little fox and bears and so cute.  I will  have to come up with a card or something to really use all of them!
Here you can see some of the placement for the layout. I am just plotting it all out still.  I NEVER glue anything down until I am 100% sure of the layout.

Well I hope everyone has a great day! I have  a busy one at work today, but other than that nothing is new.  Hopefully the wind will calm down and snow will stop blowing and drifting.  It doesn't matter how many times we snow blow the driveway--the snow always drifts up against our garage.  It is driving me crazy.

Plus I just found out this morning that one of my layouts featuring Echo Park Paper was picked to be on their blog today!!!  I am soooo excited.  I just love their paper! and this is such an honor.  click here to check it out!!!

I will be back tomorrow with a new layout! Thanks for stopping by!
