What am I Working on Now?

Wow--I forgot how fast time flies when I am back to work.  I can't believe it is Thursday already.  Thanks for all the well wishes with Michael.  I see a bit of an imporvement in him so hopefully he will be back to his normal self by the weekend!

Well what have I been working on?
Well, I have had this picture since October and I just haven't been able to come up with a good idea for it.  I have it framed in my living room, but I couldn't seem to work with it.  So finally I had my sketch pad and I finally came up with something. I have been stuck on circles again so this sketch has a circle in it.
I knew I wanted to use the Imaginisce Apple Cider Collection.  Can you believe that after this layout I will have used every single piece and scrap of the paper line.  I bought 2 pieces of every differnt pattern paper and I will have used everything. I just LOVED this line.  I will have to take a count of how many pages I made with it.
So here is the basic layout of the paper.  In total my plan is to use 4 differnt patter pieces on the layout.  I wonder what my record is--I just love to layer and layer.  The tree paper is just one of my favorites!
Many people have asked what do I do with my kids when I am scrapping?  Well I thank  you for all of your questions--I read all of our emails and comments and to answer that question I needed to show you.  Here they are right with me.  My scrap room is in the basement and attached to the playroom.  So they are with me every second I scrap.  Most days like today they are right next to me working on something. They have their own desk, but most of the time they like to share mine.  It gets a little crowded but I just put some stuff on the floor and go with it! Today Michael wanted to make a sticker page and color and Jack just wanted to hang out with us instead of playing.  I LOVE it when we are all together!  I don't get much accomplished when we are all sitting together but then who cares --right?

Hopefully I will have this layout completed by the weekend and I will post it in the next couple of weeks!

Don't forget about the AWESOME challenge that is going on right now at Scrap Our Stash.  Make a layout, card, altered project that has something NEW in it ( the word new, a new tool, a new technique, a new attitude etc)  My DT work will be here and on the Scrap our Stash blog on Saturday!!!  I would love one of my followers to win the challenge!!

So thanks for stopping by today! I will be back tomorrow with another  new layout!

My son is always scrapping with me. It too gets a bit crowded, but it okay. He has his own little box for supplies and 'scrapbooks' right along with me. He has so much fun. Can't wait to see the finished layout.

My girls used to love creating with me. They even have their own scrapbooks that they made. Now they just come in to visit for a tad then go about their business :)

Love that your older boy has a protective, loving arm around his brother, so sweet.

Cabn't wait to see that finished LO. My kiddos have a table right next to mine too and they love to scrap right along with me. My 7 year old has even made his own pages - they aren't always square or even rectangular but he loves doing it so who am I to stop him.
