Green card set

Happy Wednesday!

Hope everyone is having a great week so far. I know I am.  Haven't had much time to scrap, but I have been able to make 2 sketches for my layouts.  So that is good.  I had my pictures picked out for some layouts, and then I took my sketch pad to work and on my lunch break and study hall duty I made the sketches.  So I will be ready to go once I find some time this week.

This week's card

Well if it is Wednesday than I feature a card I made.  This is  a card set I made for my mother in law for part of her Christmas present.  I used this stamp from my Hero Arts debut party.

For this card set I used the Hero Arts Note Cards and the matching chalk inks and shadow inks.  I like the tone on tone effect.  I first stamped the note card with the cling stamp and let that dry a bit.  I then stamped the greeting on the Neenah Solar White cardstock.  I then matted the greeting with coordinating hero arts cardstock.  I then attached a green gem stone from the I Rock collection by Imaginisce.
Yes--i know the rhinestone fell off and i fixed it!  but i didn't want to redo the picture.
The matting is tad off on this one.  This post has a ton of errors.  I went back and fixed the matting as well.  It is funny that I didn't catch some of this stuff until I uploaded the pictures.

So for her card set I gave her 6 cards (2 of each color).  She loved them, and they were SO EASY!  I love it when they are easy and they look pretty.

Supplies
Hero Arts
Gemstones Imaginisce

Sorry for all the errors--I have to admit I was being a bit lazy and I didn't want to redo the pictures and then upload them to the computer and then upload them again to the blog--sorry!!!

Well I hope everyone has a great day!  I am hoping to start some scrappin' tonight so that I have something to post tomorrow--if not I won't be back till Friday.

Thanks for stopping by!

Sometimes the most simple cards are the best ones.
I notice my flaws when I upload them on the computer as well, and I ain't talking cards, lol.
Hope you get in some creative time this week.
