Another Challenge

Oh yes the weekend is here!!!

What is everyone doing this weekend?  Me, not much (thank goodness!) I have errands to run today and then other than that we really don't have much.  I am ready for a restful long weekend (I have Monday off).  I plan on getting some scrapping done.  I have  a couple of challenges I want to enter, I need to fulfill my DT work for my local scrap store, plus I want to start on my Valentine's Day cards.  A tall order but if I accomplish 2 of those goals I will be set!  I have my to do list all ready--do you make to do lists?

As I was reading all the blogs last week, I came across this blog sketch site The Scrappiest.  It has weekly sketches and you know how I LOVE sketches and I saw this sketch and I knew I just had to do it.  I loved all the layering of paper and I just saw it and immediately thought of how I would change it around a bit to make it my own.

Here is my take on the sketch.  I knew I wanted to use  my photo of the kids with Santa and my Little Yellow Bicycle paper and embellishments.

Here you can see the chipboard ornaments.  I simply used my button twine and attached it to the ornament.  I like the effect if gives. Plus it ties into the picture with the ornaments behind Santa.

I love circles and this embellishment works great!

I once again used my Silhouette for the title.
