Little Yellow Bicycle Savor Contest

T.G.I.F.

I am so happy that today is Friday, but I look at my weekend ahead and I just cringe!  So much to do, but I know it will all get done.  There is no choice. Hubby said that he will help out on Saturday so that is awesome!  Plus only 2 days till my big class with the new Hero Arts stamps--OOOOOH I can't wait!

So it is going to be another quick post today!

2 Cooks
Well I did it again. I entered another contest.  I made this layout for the Little Yellow Bicycle Savor Challenge.  You had to create a layout using the Savor Collection.  This line is really pretty!  This is a picture of myself and my mom on Thanksgiving.  This is the second year that Thanksgiving is at my house.  My mom has been slowly handing over all the cooking to me: however, she still likes to cook a couple of the side dishes.  So therefore we have 2 Cooks for Thanksgiving!

Supplies:
Pattern Paper:  Little Yellow Bicycle
Stamps:  Ali Edwards
Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black
Thickers

Here is my question to you today--Do you enter contest or challenges?  If so why and why not?  I like to enter enter challenges because it gets me motivated either to scrap some photos or to use new paper.  I like it--it keeps me moving.
I hope everyone has a fantastic Friday!  and I will be back tomorrow with another quick post and a layout!
Thanks for stopping by!

Don't know how you find the time to enter contests at this time of year! I can't even find the time to craft. Good luck to you! Love your layout and yesterday's card!

This is great! I like to do challenges and I would really like to do them more often. They are a great way to jump start a project, it's just a matter of remembering to do them before the deadline for me! LOL!

I have never entered a contest. Opps I lied, I did get 1st place at a local store on one of my layouts.
But not on a site or magazine, why, I am intimidated by the other scrappers.
I have always said that I am going to try one for Canadian Scrapbookers Mag. and I may do it as someone on my blog double dog dared me to, LOL

I love this! I used to enter contests, but haven't done so in a long time. Not sure why, really, maybe because I never won anything!!

I have never entered any contests. I've only recently discovered that such contests involving scrapbooking/crafting exsisted. lol.

Great layout! I've just started entering challenges because they challenge me to use a technique/color scheme or even products that I normally wouldn't use. So far I've been having lots of fun with it. :)

Great layout! My Mom has reluctantly done the same. Thanksgiving is usually at my house and she doesn't like to cook much anymore, but she's still a control freak. LOL She's still in the kitchen issuing orders -- but no, she doesn't want to help cook. I wish that the old "Mom, go sit down and relax" actually worked.

I used to enter contests but not so much in recent years. I find that I don't scrapbook on demand very well. If I can quickly come up with an idea and execute easily, I'd do it more often.
