Do you ever get worried that you are behind in your scrapping? I don't for the most part. I know a lot of people feel nervous if they are behind but I don't. For example this was a photo that I have loved for over a year now. It hangs on my wall at school. I love these guys so much! This photo was taken last year on Father's day (2012). I have been wanting to scrap it but I just haven't gotten around to it. So when I was looking for a project for Core'dinations I came across this and said this is the one!
For my layout I first started out scoring my cardstock. I then cut the circle mat from my Silhouette. I then punched the negative space using some Core Cardstock and then a couple pattern pieces from Fancy Pants. After filling the negative space I then layered my photo using some pattern paper from Fancy pants, some tabs from Elle's Studio and tags from Core! I then randomly placed some embellies and some word stickers on some of the circles. Finally I added a frame and the title.

Oh Em Gee!!! I am LOVING this layout!!!! All the negative spaces are ADORABLE!! You really hit this one out of the park! :) And yes, I have felt more behind this year than before, probably because I started PL. I'm working on my July layouts now and feel sooooo far behind, LOL! :)
I'm behind, that seems to just be the way it is for me right now, I've got to get busy though, my baby is a senior this year and I at least want to get all her high school pics done. I absolutely love the circle background, dang I need a Silhouette, my other cutting machine won't be able to cut anything like that very clean. Fabulous layout!
