Friday Moxxie Blog Hop Graduation Day

Welcome to Moxxie's May Muse-A-Palooza Blog Hop!

This month we are featuring and you could WIN the entire "Graduation Day" collection! Many people are preparing for graduations of all kinds this time of year, from Pre-school all the way up to College and everything in between plus don't forget those other successes and milestones that are overcome with a little less flare. This line is perfect for all of those moments, inspiring quotes, fabulous designs and a color palette to match whatever you need for your page or project. Check it out!

Here is my take on the collection.  My cousin graduated from high school last year and I scrapped her graduation day.  Her school colors were brown and yellow.  I used a studio calico chevron mask and sprayed some yellow mist from Heidi Swapp.  I then added some on the page.  I am not a flower person but I broke into my tiny stash of flowers from Hero Arts and added some brads from my stash.  Then I cut the title and banner with my Silhouette.  I even found some metal photo corners in my stash and used those to make some arrows.  Finally I added some washi tape.

This is such a treasured page.
I like that you added a bit of yellow for the school colours, yet it wasn't overpowering...awesome idea.

I really love what you did with her school colors. My college is brown and gold, and I had such difficulty with the colors!
