Happy Thursday,
Over the last several weeks I have been hard at work trying to get a bit caught up on some of my basic scrapping pages. One of these pages is my Pocket folder for Jack's school album. I like to make these pocket folders to hold various school work projects and important things like report cards etc. For Jack's first grade pocket folder I used the Simple Stories Elementary collection. I was able to find this collection marked waaaay down and I broke my spending freeze to pick up this collection. I am very low on my back to school papers so I went ahead and broke my freeze!
For this layout I used a plain piece of dark brown cardstock and then I made the pocket part. I used several strips of paper from the collection and I sewed t hem all together. I then sewed the pocket part onto the cardstock and left the top open so that I could add my papers. Not a lot of fuss or embellishments but that is ok with me! I just needed something simple for his pocket folder.
supplies
cardstock- bazzill
paper- simple stories
Thanks so much for stopping by today. i will be back tomorrow with something NEW! See you then. Have a wonderful and crafty day!

Wednesday Stamp of the Week Monster Boy
Happy Wednesday!
How is your week going? So far so good here. I am happy that each day I am moving closer to the weekend! Have you been crafty lately? I have been. I am making some projects for Moxxie for next month and in March. I always work a month ahead. I am so loving the new Easter collection. I can't wait for you to see them! I am also going to start a project today that is just for me! Sometimes I don't really get the opportunity to make a layout just for me- not for a DT. DON"T get me wrong I totally LOVE my DT work but sometimes it is fun to play with paper that you don't normally get to play with. For this layout I have on my desk some MME. It is new to me but this collection came out in the summer. I am so excited.
Anyhoo, on to my project for today. Over at The Stamping Shack they have a stamp of the week that is on sale. This week's stamp is this adorable little monster boy. I just love this little guy. He looks like he is having so much fun! I paper pieced together his little costume with some fun October Afternoon paper. I then colored him in with my Spectrum Noir markers. To round out the card I the coordinating collection from October Afternoon and used some yummy twine from The Stringery.

Tuesday Christmas Party 2011
Happy Tuesday!
Over Christmas break I was finishing up my Christmas 2011 photos. I helped out in Michael's pre school room for his party and I was able to snap these photos of him sitting at his table waiting for the party to begin and then enjoying a wonderful sugar cookie. When I was finishing up 2011 I was getting a bit worn out and I really wanted pages to come together quickly so I really made some easy layouts. This is my first one. I really made this layout is like 1/2 hour which for me is super fast. LOL!!
I first misted the paper with some white Studio Calico spray and waited for that to dry. I then splattered on some red and then let that dry. I broke out my scraps from Nikki Sivils Gingerbread collection and layered a couple of pieces and added my photos. After adding the title and the top embellishment I wanted something else- it was just too plain so I decided to add some washi tape on the sides of the layout. I used the Bella Blvd washi tape. I like how it turned out and I didn't fuss on it for a long time. Like I said I sat at the table and came up with the idea and made the layout in 1/2 hour and that is with the mist drying.
supplies
paper- stickers- die cuts- Nikki Sivils
mist- studio calico
washi tape- bella blvd

Hey Everyone,
It is an exciting day here and over at the Imaginisce blog today because all this week they are releasing the brand new collection Good Dog. This collection is just so absolutely fabulous. I love all the chevrons and the the awesome colors in this collection.
I have a couple of projects to share here and over on the Imaginisce blog. First up I have a layout using Good Dog. My cousin just added to their family with Miss Lucy! She is the most gorgeous English Creme Retriever ever! I am in LOVE with her. This was her welcome home photo. Isn't she adorable?
supplies
paper- Imaginisce Good Dog
die cuts- Imaginisce Good Dog
chipboard and stickers- Imaginisce Good Dog
tools- I top and Medium and Small brads, Silhouette
buttons- paper trey ink
mist- studio calico
For my next project I made a little treat bag. I know you know plenty of people who have pets. This collection makes the cutest little gift bags to bring them a little gift. I cut out the design using my Silhouette. I then used my clear acetate packaging from the chipboard and made the window on the bag. I am so frugal I even save and use the packaging! LOL! I glued it together using my I Bond to make sure that it was sturdy enough to hold the big treats. I tied it together using some yummy twine from The Stringery. Finally I used a die cut from the collection and one of the Snag 'em stamps for the paw print. I love that stamp!
supplies
paper- die cut- stamp- Imaginisce Good Dog
twine- the stringery
heart stamp- TAWS
ink- jenni bowlin
I have a coordinating Tag for the bag on the Imaginisce blog. I would LOVE it if you stopped on over to see and all the other wonderful projects from the Amazing DT. You can also leave a comment and win this entire collection. So please go HERE!

Thursday TAWS Be Inspires #20
Happy Thursday
How is your week going? So far so good here. I have been busy working on some girly things. A co-worker is pregnant and having a little girl. Last week we had a shower for her and I made her an adorable card and then I took photos and I am using those photos for Design Team work for Moxxie. It is really really fun to use pink and girly things!
The first thing I made was a card. The Alley Way Stamps is having their Be- Inspired #20 challenge Here is the photo. You can see all the details to the challenge HERE!
For this card I went with the pink tones and used paper pieced my little adorable elephant. I then stamped the image again and pop dotted her ear up. I added a little black pearl for her eye. I then sprinkled some pearls and gems in various tones of pink. I then layered the card and then put some awesome chevron pink ribbon from The Stringery. I totally love how this came out!
supplies
paper- sei
cardstock- neenah solar white
stamps- TAWS
ribbon- The Stringery

Tuesday Gingerbread House
Happy Tuesday
Today I am popping in to share a new layout that I made. It has been a really long time since I made a double page layout! I used to make them all the time when I worked for my LSS but in my everyday scrapping I rarely make them. Last year we took a trip to The Great Wolf Lodge and we had breakfast in life size gingerbread house. It was so cool. The boys had soooo much fun. After breakfast they put on a puppet show in the lobby and they made it snow right there. It was so much fun!
For this layout I broke into my one of my favorite collections from last year. It was from Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker. I bought this collection because I knew it would be just perfect for my photos! Totally love it!!

Monday Oh the Places
Happy Monday,
Did have a great weekend? I loved every minute of it. I had so much fun watching Jack at his basketball game and then on Sunday I had so much fun playing tennis- 2.5 hours of playing ( 1.5 tennis match and then an hour later a 1 hour lesson). I couldn't move for the rest of the day but oh was it fun! I also managed to get some crafting in.
Today I have my favorite layout so far in 2013. I bought one of the October Afternoon Santa Sacks and I just had to jump in and make a layout using all the goodies. For this one I used the Travel collection. We were all at the airport waiting for our flight to take off last summer for vacation and I snapped a photo of them. I totally love this photo.
Everything is October Afternoon except
Flair badge- A flair for Buttons
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I know I have had a lot of cards lately but this week I have 3 new layouts! On Wednesday I will have my first Imaginisce layout using the brand new Childhood Memories collection. I can't wait to show you!! I will see you back here tomorrow! Have a wonderful and crafty day!

Friday Moxxie Recipe
Happy Friday!
Well, we made it through another week! I am so excited for this weekend. Jack has his first basketball game on Saturday and then on Sunday I am going to play my first tennis match. My coach said I was ready to play my first match! I am both excited and nervous. Hitting the ball awesome in practice is NOT the same as in a real match. Then after my match I drive home and get Jack and head back to for our tennis lesson. I think I will probably fall over exhausted by 1:30 p.m. LOL!!
Today I have a fun layout using some yummy Moxxie! This collection is an older one called Bake Shoppe and I really loved working with it. This year I perfected my pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving and I got a shot of it as it was cooling. It was a huge hit with the family!
supplies
paper, die cuts, stickers- Moxxie
stamps- pink paislee
ink- jenni bowlin
paper clip- tim holtz

Thursday Gift Bag and Tag
Happy Thursday,
Jack had a birthday party to go to and I needed to make a gift bag and tag. I broke into my stash and came up with the the awesome Echo Park Boy collection. This collection is VERY old but I keep all my scraps. For the bag I layered some pattern paper--
For the tag I used an October Afternoon monster stamp and colored him with my spectrum noir markers. I also made a cute tag from Paper Trey ink. I added them to a basic tag and I was done! It all came together in about a 1/2 hour. I totally love it when it comes together so easily!!

Wednesday SOG January Challenge
Happy Wednesday!!
Today I have for you my entry in the Some Odd Girl January Monthly challenge. This was a sketch challenge and I totally loved the sketch! To see all the details of the challenge please go HERE!
For my card I used Kaylee ( she is my new fave!) and I colored her with my Spectrum Noir markers. I have really been working hard on my hair techniques and I am so pleased with my progress. I was really able to get that shiny hair look and I am just so proud of myself. Coloring is just so much fun and it is so awesome to see my progression! Anyhoo, I got off topic there and the I built my card. I used the Imaginisce Love You More paper, I just really love this collection. I then made a doily on my Silhouette and then used the stickers to embellish my card. I then wanted to add a touch of pearls so I colored my plain pearls with my spectrum noir markers so that they match. I really love how it turned out!

Monday Halloween Class Party
Happy Monday
Did you have a nice weekend. Ours was pretty good. Jack started basketball and then on Sunday we had tennis. I was able to get some fun paper crafting in. I have been working with the new collections from Imaginisce and let me tell you the new paper collections totally ROCK! I can't wait to show you starting next week!
Here is one of the layouts that I did over Christmas break. Last year I volunteered in Jack's Kindergarten class for their Halloween party. We had a really fun time and the kids were all so cute. For this layout I broke into my stash once again and pulled out one of my favorite Halloween collections. This is from Bella Blvd. I think this collection is 2 years old- not sure but for some reason I had been holding on to it. My goal is still to use up my stash.
For the arrows I used the photo tab stickers, I really like how it turned out!
paper, stickers, chipboard- bella blvd.

TAWS Be Inspired Challenge #19
Happy Saturday,
I am popping in today to enter the awesome challenge over at The Alley Way Stamps. If you are a regular here you know that I have been totally addicted to these stamps and challenges. The stamps are just so awesome and I totally love playing with them.
The challenge for this week is a great one. To see all the details of the challenge please go HERE!
Isn't that photo awesome? Well, I have to admit orange is a tough color for me. I didn't have any penguins so I needed to go with the color. I had just received my new stamp set that I bought so I got started right away. Here is what I came up with.
I pattern pieced my robot together with some old Echo Park paper and then colored the rest of him and his friends with my Spectrum Markers. I stamped my sentiment with my jenni bowlin inks and then cut them out and pop dotted them on the card. Finally I had to add some yummy orange and white twine from The Stringery. I really love how it turned out.
supplies
stamps- TAWS
ink- memento, hero arts, jenni bowlin
markers- spectrum noir
paper- echo park
twine- the stringery
Thanks so much for stopping by today. See you soon! Have a wonderful and crafty day!

Friday Moxxie and SOG
Happy Friday,
Oh yeah, I am doing the happy dance because it is Friday! Do you have any big plans for the weekend? I am getting my hair cut early in the morning and then Jack starts basketball. I also have a ton of errands to do- baby shower gifts to buy, birthday presents, just a little of this and a little of that. You know- just time consuming errands. But I should be done by lunch time and then I am going to relax!! Sunday Jack and I have tennis lessons.
Today I have a card that combines some yummy products. Moxxie's Winterland (my favorite collection) and the adorable digi stamp from Some Odd Girl! It really is a clean and simple card but I really love how it turned out.
For the card I colored Toby with my Spectrum Noir markers and Prismacolor pencils. I added some yummy twine from The Stringery. To add a little bit of fun I added some bling!!. For the sentiment I used some of my favorite Paper Smooches stamps.
I am entering this card in the CASology Winter Challenge. You can see all the details HERE!
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Hopefully I will be back either later today or tomorrow with another card. I am trying to sneak it in. I just have to find the time to make it- hehehehe!!! Have a great weekend!

Thursday Imaginisce Introduction
Happy Thursday,
Today I am just over the moon excited about my introduction on the Imaginisce blog. I am just so excited over this and I still am in a bit of shock that this is happening to me. It truly is a dream to work for such an amazing and generous company. For years their blog and Design Team members have been inspiring me in my scrapbooking and cardmaking and now I am one of the DT members. It is so cool!
Today I want to share with you my Design Team application projects. For the application we had to create 5 projects using the Imaginsice products (2 layouts, 2 cards, and 1 other project). Here are 4 items with what I came up with.
You and Me- this layout uses their new Valentine collection and let me say that this collection totally ROCKS! I love the fun pattern paper and they now have included stickers and alphabets- gotta love that. This layout is of me and my wonderful hubby! We were at a concert this summer and we got this picture taken and I just love it of the two of us. So much fun!
EEK!
This layout uses the Monster Mash collection and I just love that this collection used some non traditional colors. This layout is of my boys on Halloween night in 2011. I thought they were just way too cute!! This collection was just perfect for them.
Christmas Card
This card uses some of the older collections that I had in my stash. I always love their large die cuts. They make the most wonderful embellishments
Home Decor
I love making home decor items and printer's treys are my fave!
If you have the time today I would love it if you could stop by the Imaginisce blog (HERE) and leave a little love. That would be totally awesome.
Thanks so much. I will be back tomorrow with a new project. See you then! Have a wonderful and crafty day!

Wednesday The Most Wonderful Time of the Year
Happy Wednesday!
So glad the week is marching on!! I am already looking forward to the weekend. I know I still have a long way to go but boy, I can't wait!!! I already need some relaxing time! LOL!!!
My goal during my Christmas break was to finish up Christmas of 2011. I don't scrap chronologically but I don't like being more than a year behind so I was busy and having fun with Christmas paper! I had a lot of photos from last year and I thought a collage would be perfect to capture all the fun moments during the morning. I really like how it turned out. For my title I used a Kerri Bradford cutting file for my Silhouette. I really like how it came out and of course I just had to include lots and lots of the awesome MME brads. I just love those things!!!
supplies
paper- stickers- brads- MME
digi collage, cutting file- Kerri Bradford
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I will be back tomorrow- I am so excited because tomorrow is my introduction on the Imaginisce blog! I hope you will stop by! See you then. Have a wonderful and crafty day!

Monday SS Sketch and Inspiration
Happy Monday,
Did you have a nice weekend? I did but I can't seem to get over this nasty cold. It just keeps lingering on and on. I am getting sick of it! I also started back up with session 2 of my tennis lessons. I just am having the best time. I even signed up for my first match at the end of the month. Really excited and VERY nervous. We shall see. I have a couple of weeks to get a bit better and more prepared!
Today over at The Stamping Shack I am up with a new sketch and card and I thought I would share it here as well. The sketch is pretty basic and there is plenty of room for your own interpretation.
supplies
paper- moxxie
stamp digi- the stamping shack
clear stamp- paper smooches
ink- hero arts
markers- spectrum noir
bling- hobby lobby

I really liked the wonderful blues and purples in this collection and I colored Daisy to match with my Spectrum Noir markers. I stamped my sentiment and finally added some bling to look like some ice crystals.
