Top Layouts from 2011

Hi

My first published layout!

I taught this  layout at Simply Scrapbooks.  It was one of my favorite layouts that I taught!

Oh I loved my Miss. B--I was so sad when we had to put her down this past May.  This page is a tribute to her! (Not sure if I shared this layout here on the blog).

I will be back tomorrow with my final top 5 layouts that I made in 2011.  It is really nice looking at all my layouts and taking the time to read the journaling and just reflecting back on all the events in our lives.  Do you do that through your work?

See you tomorrow and thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a crafty day!

I love that you are sharing all your favorites of 2011! And congrats on being published :)

I love to go back to look and my pages and re-read my journaling. Its basically the reason I scrapbook, to make a record of our lives that we can look back on and share. And of course because I think its super fun!

Love the layouts-I think it is nice to look back and reflect on your work. You can also see how your style developes and changes throughout the years.

I had a big sigh when I read your question about looking back on layouts from the past as my step sons ( the happiest time in my life since begining scrapping) were intentionally left behind for the boys, then my albums were "all about me" going through my divorce, only recently have my albums taken on a more positive note. It is good to at least be able to go back through them and see that I am in now a better place.

Great layouts! It is fun to go back and review a year with scrapbook pages, even the sad stuff.

You rocked your layouts this year Mary Pat! So many fun one - I love the Doodlebug nature layout. Precious tribute layout too - she was a pretty girl!

Your layouts are always top notch.
I would have had trouble picking your top as they are all outstanding.
My goal is to scrapbook more this year...I may be coming to you for inspiration ;)

Such beautiful layouts, Mary Pat. Love the one about your beloved furry friend. I have some layouts featuring our two dogs who died within two years of each other. I still miss them! Anyway, can't wait to see Part 2 tomorrow! =)
