Happy Tuesday!
Today is Tuesday and you know what that means. Right??? Digi release from Some Odd Girl!! HOORAY! I just love Tuesdays! So today I have Butterfly Fairy and she is just about the cutest one of all. I colored her with my Spectrum Noir markers and used my Jillibean Soup paper to form the card. For my sentiment I used a clear stamps from Some Odd Girl!
Please be sure to stop by the store to check out the new releases!!
I am taking a little bit of a blog break this week (except for this post) just in case you are wondering. I actually don't have anything to share. LOL! As I mentioned I am really scaling back my DT commitments and I really am enjoying life more. ( I actually sat on the couch with my hubby and boys for almost 2 hours and we all read books and watched a tv show. I haven't done that in like forever!) Don't get me wrong I have loved all my DT gigs and I cherish all the moments with them but life is getting more and more crazy. I was spending HUGE amounts of time in my craft room or office versus hanging with my family. My little one said " Mom, are you just going to live forever in your craft room?" and I was like this is crazy! So I have taken a little break. I do have many new projects for March! So I thought this would be a great week to take off any enjoy!
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I will be back on Saturday with the all new SOG monthly challenge! Think Gold!!! I have to say I made a layout for this challenge and I am in LOVE with it. It was so much fun. I can't wait to share! See you then. Have a wonderful and crafty day and week!

Friday Happy Valentine's Day!
Happy Valentine's Day!
I have a quick card today using some yummy Core'dinations.
I made a super easy card for my hubby. He loves all my cards but he is partial to the CAS ones. So that is exactly what I made him. I started with my grey backgournd and then layered it with some Core essentials that I ran through my cuttlebug. Next I cute out two hearts in my Silhouette using some core couture glitter and then added my alphabets. Finally I cut my ampersand and lightly sanded it. Very quick and easy!
So do you have any plans for the weekend? We are pretty busy but much more manageable than last week. I have tennis drills and practice and then on Sunday we are going as a family to see the Lego Movie!! I can't wait. The boys and I have been so excited to see this movie. It should be awesome!!
Thanks for stopping by today. I will be back next week with new projects! See you then. Have a wonderful and crafty weekend.

Thursday Core HOme Decor #2
Happy Thursday!
I am bringing you today a super quick and easy home decor piece using Core'dinations. We have a long counter/bar in our kitchen. I have plants and a message board on it. I wanted to change up my message board for Valentine's day. Here is what I came up with!
(sorry for the bad photo- I tried and tried and I could never get a good one- if you look closely you can see my reflection in the glass- LOL)
I started with my Core gemstones for my base. I then took some ruby red and pink diamond and cut them out using my Silhouette and then rand them through my cuttlebug using an embossing folder. Next, I cut out my xoxo using Onyx and placed them underneath. I still have plenty of room to message my boys in the morning or put up our schedule for the day!
Thanks for stoppign by today. I will be back tomorrow with a new Core card that I am giving to my hubby! See you then. Have a wonderful and crafty day!

Wednesday Core'dinations Home Decor #1
Happy Wednesday! I am popping in today for a rare Wednesday to bring you some Core'dinations Inspiration! We had a challenge to make Valentine's Day projects. I needed something for around our house so I was busy making 2 home decor items. Today's project is very quick and easy and makes a great photo frame.
I bought this photo frame on sale several years ago and it has sat in my craft room drawer and I thought it would be fun to turn the frames into some fun! For each frame I started with a Core base and sanded it. I then looked in my Silhouette imgages and found fun Valentine's Day sentiments and sized them so that they would fit in each frame. I love how it turned out and it is sitting on our mantel in the family room! Love it!
supplies
core essentials, core glitter silk, corr couture glitter
Silhouette
elle's studio digi
Thanks so much for joining me today. I will be back tomorrow with another home decor piece. See you then. Have a wonderful and crafty day!

Thursday Jillibean Soup
Happy Thursday
As you know I have made a commitment to myself to start using up my paper. I am trying to go through my paper collections. Right now I am working on some Jillibean Soup Pumpkin Chowder. This is my second layout using this collection!
For my layout I started with some Jillibean Soup Core Impressions and lightly sanded it to expose the inner core. I then took a brown piece of the collection and lightly sanded that. I then started building the layout layering paper. I decided to scraplift myself. I used this layout as my inspiration . I just changed it up a bit and added a couple different embellishments.
The photo was taken on Thanksgiving of 2012. Even though the photo was not the greatest I wanted to scrap it because I love it when my mom lets me take photos of her! I don't know about you but even if my photos aren't the greatest I still scrap them because I am capturing the moment. Not all moments can be perfect. Right???

cardstock- Core'dinations
paper-stickers- punch outs- JIllibean Soup

I am entering this card into the Lawnscaping Challenge #75. The challenge is to use DOTS or HEARTS and I included 3 enamel dots.

Saturday SOG Monthly Challenge
Happy Saturday!
Popping in on this wonderful Saturday becuase it is the first of the month and that means a brand new challenge over at Some Odd Girl!
This month the challenge is really fun. The challenge is to use a stencil or mask. I used a Heidi Swapp stencil and used my mists to create an awesome background for my layout. I then layered my pattern paper. I am really into making my paper pop so I used my perfect layers tool to create matts for my pattern paper. With the wonderful tones of white, grey, pink and red, I knew that the chalkboard look would work really well with this and Core'dinations cardstock is so perfect for that. I cut a word bubble using the Silhouette and then sanded it. I then heat embossed the sentiment "love love love" using the I Do clear stamps set in white embossing powder. I then did the same thing with the smile banner. I used the sentiment from the clear set Photo Kaylee. For my title and doodle cut I used an Elle's studio cut file. I added some October Afternoon stickers to continue my title and then I stamped my banner using Everyday Smiles " All day Everyday" to finish it off! I LOVE how this one turned out. Have you tried stamping on your scrapbook layouts? I love it and don't be afraid to mix and match different sentiments from different collections.
This is a funny photo my boys and I took of ourselves on Instagram. We were hanging out being goofy on one of our snow days and I thought to capture us all huddled together reading a book under a blanket. We had so much fun. The title really says it all I LOVE hanging with my boys all day everyday!!
