Happy Tuesday,
Yesterday was a rainy dreary day so I was able to craft. It felt so awesome. I was able to create a layout for myself and for DT work. It was so awesome when the mojo is flowing!
I needed to make a card for our neighbor to say thanks. She is a huge pet fan and the Good Dog collection was perfect for her thank you card. I layered my paper and then stamped a photo frame using an TAWS fame. I then added some twine from The Stringery and then added a chipboard piece for the center of the frame. Lastly, I added some bling using my IROCK.
supplies
paper, chipboard, bling- Imaginisce
stamps- TAWS and Paper Smooches
twine- the stringery
tools- sewing machine and I Rock
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I will be back tomorrow with the new monthly challenge from Some Odd Girl. See you then. Have a wonderful and crafty day.

Monday Scootin' Around
Happy Monday,
Did you have a nice weekend? Oh we did! Hubby and I had a date night. It had been almost 2 months and we had a wonderful time. The only thing I didn't get to was crafting. I had high hopes of maybe getting to 3 project but nope. Didn't even step one foot in the craft room. Oh well that happens.
I did get some crafting time in this past week and I made a layout for myself. I broke into this old collection from Echo Park. I believe the name is Sweet Days. I really loved it when I bought the collection but I had some difficulty with it. The colors where so soft and they all seemed to blend together. So I decided to matt everything in brown and I really liked the effect because it made the colors POP a bit more. I also used my Silhouette a bunch with the triangle background, the photo frame and the the title. For some embellies I broke into my flair jar and some wood veneer from Freckled Fawn. I also broke into my stash of twine and ribbon from The Stringery.
The photos are of Jack riding his scooter. The bunny brought him a new scooter last year and he rode everyday for the longest time. These were taken of him as soon as he got home from school. He is always on the go!
supplies
cardstock- bazzill
paper- die cut- echo park
wood veneer- freckled fawn and studio calico
alpha stickers- jillibean soup
flair- a flari for buttons
ribbon and twine- the stringery
Silhoeutte

Friday Moxxie Lego Heaven
Happy Friday!
Are you glad it is the weekend? Oh my I am for sure! We have a relatively quiet weekend- only one baseball game this weekend and I only have tennis twice but because we are light on those we have a ton of errands to run! I am hoping to get in some crafting time. I have on my desk some projects for my design teams and I have one project that is almost finished that I am doing just for me!
Today's project is from Moxxie and the Reach for the Stars collection. I have been really into the use of the negative space lately and today's layout has that big time. I first cut out my stars using my Silhouette. I then misted my paper using some Heidii Swapp mists. I really love these mists because they have a light sparkle to them! I then adhered the cardstock to my pattern paper. Next, I layered my pattern paper and added some die cuts from Moxxie and then added some fun wood veneer to top it all off.
Last year we went to LegoFest and the boys loved looking at all the lego creations. This was Woodie and Buzz from Toy Story. My boys totally love that movie and this paper was so perfect for this photo. LegoFest was so fun!

cardstock- bazzill
paper, die cuts- moxxie
wood veneer- studio calico
flair- a flair for buttons

Tuesday SOG Look Our Mae
Happy Tuesday!
Today there is once again a new digi release over at Some Odd Girl, and I just about fell in love with Look Out Mae. Isn't she adorable? I was feeling springy when I made this card (even though now it is chilly and only 55 degrees- come on spring!). I broke into my stash or some Jillibean Soup and colored Mae with some coordinating colors using my Spectrum Noir markers. I just love her little dress! Finally I added some wood veneer. (Golly, I can't stop using those cute little embellies.)
supplies
paper sentiment- jillibean soup
wood veneer- studio calico
digi stamp- some odd girl
markers- spectrum noir
Please stop by the Some Odd Girl store and check out the new digi releases this week. There is also a fab clear release this well. The theme for the clear release is Fairy Tales and let me just say these stamps are adorable!!

Monday TAWS Be Inspired #26
Happy Monday,
Did you all have a nice weekend? We did but boy oh boy was it cold out. Jack had his opening day ceremonies for baseball and it was freezing out with a strong wind. We were all bundled up. It was miserable and then sunday he had his first game. The sun was out at least but still freezing. It was fun to see him in the game and have fun.
It is time for another challenge from The Alley Way Stamps and this one was a fun one (well, aren't they all fun?). You can go HERE to see all the rules! Here is the inspiration.

Firday Moxxie Loving This Life and Some Fun News!
Happy Friday!!
I am so excited that today is Friday. I am so ready for the weekend! We have a rather busy weekend but it all should be fun. I have my tennis practice tonight and I cancelled saturday's because Jack has his Opening Day festivities for his Baseball Season. They have a big deal with opening day ceremonies, food, games etc. Jack's first game is then on Sunday. It is supposed to be sunny but very chilly in the mid 50's. It will be good though. I can't wait to take photos because he looks so darn cute in his uniform. I am such the scrapbooker because I was so excited that his uniform matches the sports collection I have. LOL!!!
Today I have one of my all time favorite layouts I have done for Moxxie. This is a photo of my hubby on our vacation last year to Pompano. We took a dinner cruise around the intercoastal waters. We all had a wonderful time. I had been on one when I was little but it had been a LONG time since then and it was awesome. Everyone (especially) the boys had a blast. Towards the end of the cruise I happened to see hubby sitting there and I snapped this awesome photo of him. One of my faves.
For this layout I used my Silhouette to create the circles and then I filled in the circles from several different collections from Moxxie that I thought all went together (Wee Ones and Reach for the Stars). I then had so much fun misting and splatering! Finally I added some washi tape and then some wood veneer. I even added a flair badge.
supplies
cardstock- bazzill
paper- moxxie (wee ones and reach for the stars)
mist- heidi swapp and studio calico
washi tape- bella blvd and no idea
wood veneer- studio calico
Silhouette
Sewing Machine
Now for some of my good new!!! Moxxie has asked me to stay on for a second term and I said YES and...... I was asked to join the 2013 Design Team for Core'dinations! I am so excited. The team is really awesome and I can't wait to get started. You might have seen the badge up on my blog for the last couple of days but I had to wait a bit until they had their reveal on their blog. To see the other members of this awesome team you can check it out HERE.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I will be back on Monday with a full week of new projects! See you then. Have a wonderful and crafty weekend.

Thursday Some Odd Girl Ning Community Challenge- Brads
Happy Thursday!
I don't know about you but oh is this week moving slowly LOL! Maybe because the weather is nice.
Today I have another Some Odd Girl card to share with you today. Did you know that there is a whole community of Oddies? There is! And every week Faye puts together an amazing challenge. This month the prize of the challenge is to win a Guest Design Team spot. Now how awesome is that? The current challenge started on Tuesday and ends on Sunday. The Challenge is to Trash Your Stash- Brads Challenge. This challenge was easy for me because I LOVE brads.
For this card I used some MME paper and 50's Mae. I colored Mae with my spectrum noir markers and then paper pieced her dress and shoes. I had the 6x6 paper pad so the design in smaller than the background paper. Next, I added some coordinating brads. Finally I added my sentiment, a clear stamp from the Make a Statement collection.

So let's head on over to the Some Odd World and enter the challenge!
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I will be back tomorrow with a new layout form Moxxie. See you then! Have a wonderful and crafty day.

As I have mentioned over a thousand times Jack loves sports and Moxxie is famous for their sports papers. This past winter Jack played on his first basketball team. He really loved it. Here are a couple of shots I took of him during his games. He was really great about passing the ball and rebounding. It wasn't until the last game of the season that he made is first basket during the game. It was so awesome. Of course, I was not taking photos that day but I do have the moment captured on video!
For this layout I used some of the new basketball collection from moxxie. I first added my sewing around the edges. I wasn't exact and went around several times. I then add some washi tape ( I am afraid I have no clue as to the brand!). Next I layered my paper. The grey lent itself to adding different colors. The orange was in the collection but then I went ahead and added some yellow from another collection and some green from a die cut sheet. I then went ahead and added some wood veneer ( stars, word bubbles, and arrows- all my faves right now) I then decided to add some buttons and just some messy thread to carry over the messiness of the sewing. I really liked how this layout turned out.

Thursday MME Sketch Challenge
Happy Thursday
The weekend is getting close! I can't wait! This week seems like it has been creeping along. Have you been getting in any craft time this week. I have been getting in a bit- not much but just enough.
Over my Spring break I was able to play around with some of my supplies and some of my new paper. My Mind's Eye is having a sketch challenge and I thought I would play along this month! I really loved this sketch. You can go HERE to check out the rules!
Here is my take on the sketch. I used the Collectibles collection. I just love the colors. So perfect for this layout of Michael. On the last day of the season we went to Kings Island, a local amusement park. Michael just loves to ride the old carousel. He had so much fun. When we got in the car he said "This was the best day ever!" It was so cute.
One of the things that I love the most about the MME collections is the wonderful assortment of brads. I just love them. I also included some wood veneer from Freckled Fawn. It seems like I can't make a layout without the wood veneer.

paper, brads, stickers, die cuts- mme

But when we are outside no crafting is going on :(. I have a couple of projects on my desk but there is no rush- Thursday and Friday are supposed to be cold and rainy so I know I will get them done.
TAWS has there Be Inspired Challenge up. To see all the details you can go HERE!
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I will be back tomorrow with a new layout to share using some MME paper. They are having a super fun challenge and I knew I just had to participate! I will see you tomorrow. Have a wonderful and crafty day!

For my take I picked up the pink. I never use pink very often and I decided to go with the color scheme. I also wanted to use my new TAWS stamp set. So this is what I came up with.
I stamped my images in Tim Holtz distress ink and Jenni Bowlin spun sugar. I then colored my sentiment with my Spectrum Noir markers. Finally I added some yummy twine from The Stringery and Some colored pink pearls. Thanks so much for stopping by today. I will be back tomorrow with a new layout to share using some MME paper. Tuesday Imaginisce I Bond
Happy Tuesday,
All this week Imaginisce is having and I-Bond Extravaganza! All the Design Team members made projects using the totally awesome I- Bond, a batter operated glue gun. If you haven't tried it you really should because it is totally awesome.
I love making projects from the Silhouette store but my problem is that even with an ATG gun the adhesive never is strong enough to hold the item together once you put something in it. Well, I tried the I Bond with a project and I was totally hooked! It holds it together just perfectly and it instantly becomes strong.
For my project I used some Imaginsice paper and made a little treat box for Jack's teacher. I just love the little apple on top. To secure the box I glued the sides using the I Bond and it worked perfectly!! Jack is going to fill these up with his teacher's favorite candies.
supplies
paper- Imaginisce Good Dog
tools- Silhouette and I Bond
GIVEAWAY TIME!!!!
If you visit the Imaginisce blog and leave a comment you could win a huge I Bond prize package. Now that is awesome!! Go HERE!
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I forgot to mention yesterday that I actually have an entire week of projects this week. I am so excited. Tomorrow I have a fun card for you. See you then. Have a wonderful and crafty day!

Monday MME Friends
Happy Monday,
How was your weekend. We had a pretty awesome one! On Friday I finished a HUGE project and shipped it off. I would love to share it with you but I can't for several months! I then cleaned my scraproom from top to bottom. It looks soooo nice. I love a good scraproom. Saturday I ran errands and played tennis and just hung out outside with my guys because it was so beautiful out. There is hope that spring is really here. Sunday played tennis and again just hung out with my guys. Loved every minute.
I did get a bid of scrapping in. I made a commitment back in October of 2012 that I was going to use up some of my stash and I have been really awesome about that ( I did have one slip up but I will share that with you later in the week.). So I need a card for a friend and so I went shopping in my stash. I found this collection from MME. I just love the color combo of blue and yellow.
supplies
paper, stickers, brad- MME
stamp- paper smooches
sewing machine, border punch
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I will be back tomorrow with a new project and video for Imaginisce. See you then. Have a wonderful and crafty day!

Thursday Spring Concert + Process Video
Happy Thursday,
Spring break is coming to an end. I always get so sad when it is Thursday. We still have some fun things planned and the weather is starting to turn. Today will be 60 degrees so I think we will go to the park for a bit!
I was able to get some crafting time in again and I made something just for me. I really love getting to play with my supplies and breaking into my stash. This is a layout of Jack's spring concert last year. He was just so cute. The lighting was terrible and my photos didn't come out crisp and clean but I wanted to scrap the photos anyway to document his first concert.
Here is a video I created that walked through my process on how I made this layout.
supplies
paper, stickers- october afternoon
mist- studio calico
twine- the stringery
flair- a flair for buttons
wood veneer- studio calico
washi tape- imaginisce
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I will be back tomorrow with the Moxxie April Blog Hop! It should be a fun time. See you then. Have a wonderful and crafty day!

Monday with Some Exciting News!!
Happy Monday!
Did you all have a great weekend and Easter? We sure did! We were busy with Easter egg hunts, dyeing eggs, preparing food for Easter brunch, and just hanging with family but it was all awesome!!
Well, I have been mentioning that I have some exciting news to tell and I have been bursting at the seams for a little over a week. I am an ODD GIRL! Yup, I am part of the new Design Team for Some Odd Girl stamps. You know how I love their stamps. I think they totally ROCK! I am just so excited! I haven't been able to stop smiling since I found out!! Kristy just totally rocks these stamps because I love to use them on cards and scrapbooking!! I can't wait to share all the fun things that I have been working on!
So for our first assignment we had the monthly challenge. It is a sketch challenge. Here is a look at the sketch. To see all the details of the challenge please go HERE!
It totally is awesome. Right? And here is my take on the sketch. I used Boy's Best Friend Tobie. Isn't he just the cutest thing ever? I fell in love with him when I saw this stamp! I colored this guy with my Spectrum Noir markers. When making the card I stuck to the sketch. For the papers I used the Good Dog collection from Imaginisce. I finally topped it off with some glam rocks from Imaginisce.
