Wednesday's Card

Happy Wednesday,
This week is flying by!  I love it.  I have been trying to get a little of scrappin' done each day and so far I am making some progress on some projects.  I have a couple going on right now (a layout, several different cards etc).

I made a new very simple very easy card set for a quick hostess gift.  My friend loves homemade things but doesn't make anything--not the craft type--which is OK-not everyone is you know what I mean.    I simply stamped the stamp in coordinating ink to match the card color.  I am in love with the tone on tone look.  I then stamped the greeting in black ink and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.   I really like how they turned out!  I am going to do a bunch of these to give as gifts this year and for next Christmas.  I know I am crazy but i am already thinking of little gifts for people for Christmas.

Everything is by Hero Arts!!! Love this company for my stamping!!

Well this is again a short post.  I hope everyone has a great day and I will be back tomorrow with a new layout.  I am wrapping up all my fall layouts.  Just a couple more to post and then I can finally move on to winter!!

Thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow!

Oh, I love these! People really appreciate getting card sets and they are so easy to make. These coordinated sets are so fun. :) I love that stamp - Hero Arts has the prettiest designs.

Beautiful cards Mary! I love the tone on tone effect too, and they would make great gifts made as a set. Thanks for sharing!

What a nice quick set. It's always good to have a stash on hand for emergencies.

Lovely cards! I, too, love the tone-on-tone. I think it's great that you are already thinking ahead for gifts.

Those are very pretty! I love the simple look of them. I'm a quite bit of a shabby girl but I've been experimenting with making "simple/clean" cards and I love it.

Great job!
