A Monday Nikki Sivils Challenge

Happy Monday,

Did everyone have a great weekend?  We did!  Hubby was home and we got some relaxing in along with going to a fall festival.  The boys had a blast!  We had a really good time.  Didn't get much crafting in though but hopefully this week I can squeak some in!

Over at Nikki Sivils they have their new challenge up and let me tell you this was very very hard for me.  I LOVED it.  The challenge is to create something in a size that you don't normally use.  For example if you normally make a 4.25 x 5.5 card than make a card that is a circle or a 5x5 square or if you scrap 12x12 then scrap a different size.  Well that is what I did!  I haven't scrapped 8.5 x 11 for almost 12 years now--wow that it is a long time-hehehehehehheh and so I made this layout (I was really stepping out of my comfort zone here) which is 8.5x11 turned horizontally.

Supplies
Everything is School is Cool except the twine from the Twinery

At the boy's day care they had a  grandparent's tea this past summer.  Michael had a blast with my mom.  He was so impressed with his crown that he made he wore if for DAYS!!!!

I thought School is Cool was just perfect for this layout.  It is such a fun line and I can't resist the little book worm.  He is just too cute!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I will be back tomorrow with a new project!  Thanks so much!  See you then!

Cute page! I've scrapped 8.5x11 before, but never turned horizontally!

What a fun challenge! I love that you turned this horizontally! Great papers and I love the banner! I'm feeling very crafty right now, I think it must be the time of year, so I'm hoping to get some time in the basement too this week...we'll see though, it's a busy one!
