2nd Valentine Card

Happy Wednesday!

I love the  little kids Valentine's that you buy at the drugstore.  Jack has some cute ones where you get a dum dum sucker and a sticker.  They are so cute; however, I wanted something special to give to the grandparents.  Well I found these awesome Penny Black stamps.

Are these not the cutest?  Oh I just love them!  My favorite is the little boy with the flowers.  I knew this would be perfect to give to the grandparents.

I made a 4x4 card of kraft cardstock, and used the paper trey ink heart background stamp.  I used the hero arts punch chalk ink.  I then cut a 3 inch scalloped circle and a 2.75 circle punch.  I stamped the image with the memento tuxedo black ink and then colored the image with my copic markers. I then glued the circle onto the scalloped circle and then that on the card.  I stamped the inside of the card with "be my valentine" with a couple of hearts that say "be mine".  I had a photo of it, but for some reason I can't find it.  I already have the cards in the envelope and ready to be mailed so I couldn't retake the photo--sorry---I think you can imagine what the inside looks like. 

I thought the card came out really cute.  Both Jack and Michael then sat down and colored the envelope and then the inside of the cards.  I think the grandparents are going to love them!
