Monday SS Sketch and Inspiration

Happy Monday,
Did you have a nice weekend?  I did but I can't seem to get over this nasty cold.  It just keeps lingering on and on.  I am getting sick of it!    I also started back up with session 2 of my tennis lessons.  I just am having the best time.  I even signed up for my first match at the end of the month.  Really excited and VERY nervous.  We shall see.  I have a couple of weeks to get a bit better and more prepared!

Today over at The Stamping Shack I am up with a new sketch and card and I thought I would share it here as well.  The sketch is pretty basic and there is plenty of room for your own interpretation.
Here is my take.  For this card I used Snowflake Daisy.  I think she is just adorable.  I teamed Daisy up with the winter collection from Moxxie!  I really liked the wonderful blues and purples in this collection and I colored Daisy to match with  my Spectrum Noir markers.  I stamped my sentiment and finally added some bling to look like some ice crystals.

supplies
paper- moxxie
stamp digi- the stamping shack
clear stamp- paper smooches
ink- hero arts
markers- spectrum noir
bling- hobby lobby

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I will be back tomorrow with a new project.   See you then.  Have a wonderful and crafty day!

1.  First up we have Western Round - Up and oh do I love this collection.  The paper designs are amazing!
 2.  Reach for the Stars is my new all time favorite!  Having 2 boys this collection is just perfect for them.  Totally LOVE this one!!
 3.  This collection is just so perfect for all those baby photos.  I still have several to scrap so I am very excited for this one!!

 6.  Jack starts basketball next Saturday and I am soooo excited for this collection.  I will be able to scrap his entire season with this paper.  Oh Yeah!!

So what do  you think about the new lines?  Aren't they just fantastic?  I sooo love them all.  I can't wait to start creating with them and sharing them with you!  I should start showing off my work later this month!!

Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge 1/3

Hey Everyone,

Just popping in today to share my card that I made for the new challenge over at the Sparks challenge blog.  This week it is Anything Goes!  To see the details you can go HERE!
I love these challenges and I needed to make a birthday card for a friend so I looked at my Paper Smooches stamps.  I loved the candle and then took a look at my sentiments and found a perfect match.
I colored my candles with my Spectrum Noir markers and then cut them out and pop dotted them on my card.  I stamped my sentiment and added just a touch of bling.  Very CAS!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I will have a new project for tomorrow!  See you then!  Have a wonderful and crafty day!

My Top 10 Layouts from 2012

Happy Wednesday,
My break sure did go by quickly.  Today I am back to work.  It is going to be a LONG day.  I always have a hard time getting back to work after some time off.

Every year (lol- well the past 2 years) I like to take a look back and highlight my favorite layouts from 2012. I have my top 10 faves for you and they are in no particular order

1.  I'm so lucky!
2.  I love this layout because I was really trying to stretch my style and explore some new techniques.  It was featured on the Imaginisce blog.  I am really proud of this layout!
3.  I really had fun with this layout.  I just kept layering the paper and then I added some fun washi tape and then I added the fun banner.
4.  I LOVE this layout.  I made it for my Guest Spot at LYB and I just truly love this paper.  I am really proud of this layout!
5.  This is my favorite Moxxie layout that I have made.  Again I just really layered my paper.  I even broke out and used some vellum on it.  So fun to make!
6.  I made this layout for my Guest Design Team spot at Jillibean Soup.  I love this photo of my 3 favorite guys.  Again I really got into the layering and misting!  So much fun!!
7.  A huge favorite right here.  I made this back in July and I have to say this layout really changed the way I scrapbook- I was much freer and I wasn't afraid to try new things.  I really got into the embellishment clusters.  I also won the Imaginisce  monthly challenge with this layout and I think it is what got me noticed.
8.  This layout I love because it made me stretch out a bit with my Silhouette. I made my own poloraid frames and it was a lot of fun.
9.  I made this layout back in early spring and I made it for the MME challenge for the use of brads.  I was so excited to win.  I really love this layout of my boy!

10.  I made this layout for my Guest DT spot at We R Memory Keepers.  How can you go wrong with a layout using a photo like this!

Well, there you have it.  My top 10 from 2012.  Personally in my scrapbooking this year was awesome!  I had the great privilege to  have several Guest Design Team spots to some of my all time favorite companies.  I made it on to several manufacturer teams and my dream was achieved by making it on the 2013 team for Imaginisce.  I am so blessed!!!

Thanks for stopping by!  I will be back tomorrow with my top 10 cards from 2012!  See you then!  Have a wonderful and crafty day!

January Imaginisce Monthly Challenge

Happy New Year Everyone!

Wow, can you believe that it is 2013?  Totally amazing!!  I am looking forward to an awesome year!  To kick off the New Year Imaginisce has a fantastic monthly challenge for you.  The theme of the challenge is just perfect for the new year.  Choose ONE word that describes you or your outlook for 2013!  How fun is that!

Here are all the details:

The challenge rules are as follows:
1. Create a layout/card using the sketch provided
2. Use at least 75% Imaginisce product
3. Use the color blue somewhere on your project
4. Theme : Pick ONE word that will describe you/your outlook for the year 2013

Here is a look at the awesome sketch from Diana:
Don't you just love this sketch?  I know I do!

This challenge was great for me because I was really thinking that some things in my life needed to change and that I needed some balance in my life.  I wanted to bring back some things in my life that have been put aside because I have been too busy working and being with the kids.  I want to strike a balance between my hobbies as well with my scrapbooking, reading, tennis and finding the time to just RELAX.  So here is my layout with my one word being BALANCE!
For this layout I took a photo of my ipad reading library (not much there but there will be!!) and my new love tennis racket.  For this collection I used the Animal Crackers collection.  For the confetti look I cut out all the circles from the pattern paper.  I think I am going to document how my word of the year goes this year and see how I am doing.

supplies
cardstock - bazzill
paper- imaginisce
buttons- paper trey ink
string - The Stringery
vellum
tools- sewing maching Silhouette

You know it was really really weird for me to work on this side of things with Imaginisce because normally I am entering the challenges.  So very cool that one of my dreams has come true!  I hope you stick with me for my this upcoming year as I have the time of my life!!

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I will be back tomorrow with a new project!  See you then!  Have a wonderful and crafty day!
