Our assignment from Core'dinations this month was to make a School layout or project. I had these photos of my son on his first day of school last year and so I broke them out and got busy. Love an awesome assignment! My creative juices were flowing. Here is what I came up with.
First, I layered my Core cardstock and sanded pretty heavily the grey piece.
Next, I ran some strips of cardstock in my embossing folder and sanded that. I love to sand!!
Here is my finished project. I added an apple from Some Odd Girl to help embellish the layout. I also had some odds n ends from LYB.
I have a video to share on how this layout came about.
stamps- Some Odd Girl
Spectrum Noir markers
LYB canvas stickers
Cardstock- Core Essentials Lights, Neutrals, Core Impressions Jillibean Soup
Embossing Folders- lifestyle crafts, darice, cuttlebug
score board
sand it
dust buddy

Thanks so much for joining me. I will be back on Thursday with a new card. See you then. Have a wonderful and crafty day!
